Trying to pick a name for our son due any day now. Which do you prefer and why? Big brother is Jake.

I like Emmett! I've never really been a huge fan of Nathan.. I prefer Nathaniel. Plus, I think Jake and Emmett would be really cute together!

Both names are really nice and would go great with Jake. Nathan is a little more popular, so Emmett gets a point for that. However, Nathan has the nickname Nate which I think is just adorable. Jake and Nate sounds kinda similar though so you have to think if that would bother you (or your two sons). If you really can't decide and don't have a middle name already picked out how about Nathan Emmett or Emmett Nathan? (Although Nathaniel Emmett/Emmett Nathaniel does flow better)

I've never been a fan of Emmett. I just don't like the sound. And now, on top of that, it reminds me of Twilight. I love Nathan! I may be a little biased because I'm pregnant with Nathaniel....haha

Emmett is one of my favourites too! But I also love Nathan and even Nathaniel. Whatever you choose, I think these are both really nice. But I think I would go with Emmett!
