So I've had Miley/Mylee off and on my list for years.
I honestly love the name but obviously there's one connection that everyone jumps to.

I'm in the process of working on some combos and really want Mylee as a middle name for one...

Here's my issue,
Is the spelling of Mylee too weird? Or is it best to use to stray away from the connection a bit?
I like Mylee as opposed to Myleigh or any one other than Miley because my dad has Lee in his middle name and my sister's middle name is spelled Rylee so there'd be a family connection there. But I still question it (the spelling, not the name)

If that's confusing...basically
Mylee (strays away from the connection, family ties) or Miley (looks more proper imo)
Or if you like yet another spelling better than both, tell me why? Is there one other than Myleigh that I"m missing?

I love Miley, and it's on my GP for the same reason (I do love Miley Cyrus though, but the connection is too strong.) but I love how it honors and it's definitely best in the middle spot. I personally prefer the Miley spelling, I think it looks prettier.

I like her too but I don't want people to assume she's the reason I'm using the name, I genuinely like it.

That's what I think too. The Mylee spelling, while technically more obvious in the honoring, just doesn't exactly feel right. Just couldn't decide if it was worth the "Is it after Miley Cyrus?"

I'm not keen on the name overall, but I really don't like the spelling Mylee.

What about:

Maile- It's Hawaiian and technically pronounced my-leh, but if you live in the U.S. I can bet that most people would pronounce it like Miley.

I love the spelling Mylee. I love any name that has a double "e" at the end. Another spelling I really like though is the Hawaiian spelling, Maile. Some people might pronounce it like "Mail" though. You could also spell it like Mailee, but then some people might think it's pronounced like "Maylee". I've had Maile on my list for awhile though at least as a middle name.
