I was just pondering Henrietta, which is a name I'm beginning to love. I've been using the nickname Hattie with it thus far, because I didn't like Harriet, but I loved Hattie. Now that I'm actually warming up to Harriet, I've been looking for a new nn for Henrietta. And I've come across two that I think are just adorable. I love Etta, but I also love Nettie. They both have a lot going for them, in my opinion, but they are just very different kinds of names. Etta is strong, and Nettie is a much more nickname-y name. But I'm still not really sure which I prefer. So, I'm asking you all for your opinions. Etta or Nettie?

Etta. Nettie sounds like a net you play sports with (tennis, volleyball, basketball, soccer...). Etta is really cute! I like Henrietta far better than Harriet. :)

Etta :) It reminds me of that amazing singer from the 50s (?) Etta Jones

Etta is real lovely, but I love Nettie <3 Its probably because of a lady I know who go's by Nettie (short for Jeanette). I knew a Lynette "Nettie" as well. But both are lovely choices <3
