I think we've decided on the first name Samara for our baby girl. We really want the middle name to have some significance. The most meaningful to me would be using my maiden name as her middle name. I am just unsure because I don't think it flows very well. My maiden name is Seavey, pronounced "See-Vee." Do you think Samara Seavey sounds too weird or would it be acceptable?

It is tottaly acceptable!

In portuguese and spanish speaking countries all couples transmite two surnames to their children. Please use Seavey! I think Samara Seavey sounds nice and you can also add a middle name before Seavey, if you want.

I think the two names sound fine together. I actually kind of like the alliteration!
