So if my babes a girl, I'm starting to only feel for Jules as her name <3 I'm not horribly particular as to what it a full name too, but I just really feel like my babies a Jules if shes a girl :)

Juliet would be my favorite full form, but Mike said he's only a fan of that as a middle name. Other options off the top of my head..

- Julianne
- Julia
- Julie

I'd love other options I could suggest to Mike and see what can pick through, maybe we'll find one we love!! :)

To be honest, I've always felt Jules was a little trying to hard for a cute nickname. IDK I just don't like it. :(

Juliet, however, is very lovely! I also like Julianna (ah-na).

Thank you! Julianna and Julietta are both so lovely, though with Mikes surname its a bit much :( Jewels a fun option! I think it would be more a GP for me though hehe, though it is precious. Thanks so much for your input! :)

Its okay, Alyssa! Just different tastes ;) And I don't want everyone liking all my names anyway, then people might steal them ;)

I pronounce Julianna the same way! ah-na and not Anna like rhyming with banana.

I love Juliet, and with the nn Jules it would be super cute. It's a shame Mike prefers it as a middle.
You could try a J name with the oo sound followed by an L middle? E.g. June Liliana nn Jules? I think it could work with the right combo, but it depends whether you and Mike can find something you love.

Hope this kinda helped :)

Haha the idea of doing that is neat, but I think people would get confused haha!

It is a shame Mikes so iffy on Juliet <3 Maybe once we know the gender - and if its a girl - when we're buckling down on names, maybe he'll consider it more? Maybe it needs time to settle in? <3 I wish I could show him a real life example of the name to make him see it better on a person, you know? Maybe I'll make him watch Psych with me as theres a character named Juliet lol! My little brother watches it and I just kinda walked in and saw a bit of it.. but I feel like thats where the name became more usable to me <3

Maybe if I use his favorite names with it he'll love it more? Juliet Emma, Juliet Riley, Juliet Harley... hmm!

Thanks Hannah and Missingthemommylife! :D

Juliet & Julietta are lovely. Jules is a very cute nn. There's a little girl in DD's playgroup who goes by Jules (Julia), I didn't really like it at first but now I actually like it a lot!! Jai was iffy on Athena when I told him that's what I want my first girl to be called, but after a while it grew on him and he began to like it too. Maybe it'll grow on Mike :D

Thank you! I think since Mikes surname is so long, Juliet would have to be my option though Julietta is so lovely. Sometimes it works and names grow on him, sometimes not :/ So far, not many do. Most names he's extremely opposed to though and this one wasn't entirely ridiculous to him so we'll see!

I watch Psych (It's so awesome!) And I admit, I love Juliet from the show.

Though I did like Juliet before it, but she's so darn cool and adorable that it does make a great connection!!

Katie, do you think Jules itself feels too... Nick namey? :( like can it stand on its own? Would a 50 year old woman pull it off or would it sound adult for a job interview?

I have only seen a few episodes, and she is so cool!! I'm like developing a girl crush on her.. Or on her name, mainly. Just head over heels for it <3 she is adorable and just makes the name soooo cool!!

I think Jules would stand fine on its own and although it might sound a bit nickname-y it does not have an overly juvenile sound to me. I think it would be just as wearable on an adult as it would a child.

I'll ask Mike if he likes Jules on its own, it is an option at least! Though I kinda would love if he liked any of the full options <3
