When I have a son, I hope to use Knoxious as a first name. For short I would call him Nox.
Some people have told me it's a good name and some have said it'll never go correctly.
Personally, I love this name. It's the best name I've ever come across and I was just wondering if people this it's too weird or not.
What do you think? Would he get verbally abused at school for that as a name? Or would he be okay?

It's a little too out there for my taste. Personally, all I can think of is obnoxious and noxious.. neither of which are great associations. Knox could be cute and it's a little more common so if you're worried about teasing etc. it could be an alternative option with a similar sound and style.

Noxious. Obnoxious. Please don't. Just plain Knox would be much, much better.

I agree with PaperHeart. It is a very strange name. Knox would be so much better!

Obnoxious comes to mind and the sound also made me think of nauseous. Neither are a really good connection to have. I'm not a fan of Knox, but I would use it ove Knoxious.
