Hi there,

 

We're expecting another addition to our family in November. It's gonna be a baby girl. So excited!!! Now we're in the process of finding a name for the precious little one.

 

When praying and asking God to give us direction, two Scriptures have come to mind: Philippians 2:15 ("...that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world") and Philippians 4:5 ("Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.")

 

So we believe our little girl is (hopefully) gonna grow up to be a someone who makes an impact on others by being gentle, kind, humble, pure and not afraid of speaking the truth. We are looking for names that express this. Here's the list we've come up with so far:

 

Stella (star), Amy (beloved), Elenor (light, compassion, grace), Jane (gracious), Charissa (grace)

Alyssa (noble), Leah (delicate), Aryana (fair), Joselle (pledge), Darlene (darling)

 

Now let the games begin! :-) Please comment with suggestions for nice first and middle name combinations. Feel free to throw other names in as well, as long as they go with the theme.

 

As mentioned in the title, her older brother's name is Judah Lionel, last name is Quayson.

I love all of the names on your list. Quiet the award names. I am very partial to Elenor.

 

Elenor Joselle Quayson sounds Emmy nominee/winner to me. Love it! 

 

Therefore, her name will literally mean that she pledges light, compassion and grace. Very powerful meaning for such a small little girl. She will grow into it, no doubt!
