My first daughters name is Austyn Harper. I tend to like unisex names for girls and some boys names for girls, but I also like some girly names too. I have chosen Ainsley and Maddox as girl names that me and my husband can agree on... so, we either would like to go Ainsley Maddox or Maddox Ainsley. My husband thinks that since we already have an A name for our first and that my name is Amanda, that it should be Maddox, but I can not get over Ainsley. I love the name so much. I can't help it that most the names I like start with A. Any thoughts? I will also take some more suggestions for names. These are just the only 2 we came up with that we both can agree on.

So I voted for Maddox Ainsley on your poll, because for me it flows better with Austyn Harper. Harper and Ainsley are on the more feminine side of unisex, whereas Austyn and Maddox are slightly more masculine. I would pair them together as first names to keep the balance.

I think Ainsley Maddox flows better, but I see your husband's point about the duggar-like A names. If your last name is one syllable, Maddox might work as a first name.

I feel Ainsley would be the better first name as Maddox is a little too masculine in spelling and has been quite popular this past decade for boys. The spelling of Austyn reveals it's femininity. I also think Austyn and Ainsley sound like a great sibling combo. If after you name the baby Ainsley Maddox your husband still can't agree you can still call her Maddie or Maddox.
