Acacia

I was going through a list of suggestions on another post yesterday and came across this one. I know of a couple pronunciations for this one: A-case-ee-uh or A-cay-sha. How would you pronounce it?

Acacia Roxanne

 

Moxie

Basically means "feisty" to sum up. I love it, probably as a middle until I could warm up to it.

 

Evelyn Moxie

Gwendolyn Moxie

Ryder Moxie?

I've always loved Ryder on a girl, but now I think I really love it! I think it would need a VERY feminine middle name to go with it to balance out the unisex principle. Opinions and suggestions would be great!

Ryder Genevieve

I would pronounce Acacia as a-cay-sha, or even a-cay-shee-uh.  Both Acacia Noelle and Acacia Roxanne flow nicely, but I prefer Acacia Noelle.  Both names sound ultra-feminine and compliment each other well, whereas Roxanne seems a little spunky to go with Acacia.

 

Moxie is not my style, but I like it as a middle name.  Evelyn Moxie would probably be my favorite (Evelyn is feminine without being too frilly, making it compatible with Moxie), but I think Gwendolyn Moxie is nice too.  I wouldn't go with Ryder Moxie because a) they're both word names (rider being the word's spelling), and I think it would be hard to tell the gender of a kid named Ryder Moxie.

 

I'm not fond of Ryder for a boy or a girl - it sounds too trendy to me, personally.  If you really love it for a girl, however, I agree that it would work best with a traditionally feminine middle name.  Ryder Emilia would be my favorite out of the ones you suggested.

I say Acacia as Ah KAH shuh
