Hello! I'm Jocelyn, I'm seventeen and I'm currently pregnant for the first time.. This pregnancy was definitely a shock.. But the whole thing got even more nerve wracking when we found out we [my boyfriend Thomas and I] were pregnant with twins. Very excited, though! :D
My thing is now- Parents have a hard enough time picking a name for their child.. And I'm responsible for two! :o And their name is something they'll have for their whole life I don't want to ruin it for them by giving them terrible names that will follow them FOREVER. I honestly can't handle the stress..

Anyway, it's a little girl and a little boy [Squee! Yay!] and I do have names that I think I like.. But I don't know if they're appropriate and will age well.. I don't want them to go and apply for a job someday and the employer be like "Wow, what a name. His/her mother must hate them."
Anyway, I searched the web in hopes to find help from expert baby namers.. And I hope I came to the right place!

Names currently on the list:
Aribella Kate & Princeton Kale
^The names I like as of now.
Victoria Elizabeth & Vincent Alexander
^The names Thomas likes.

Thomas really likes names that match but are not too matchy. Especially names that start with the same letter, I, on the other hand, have no idea what kind of names I like. I have just loved the names Princeton & Aribella for a while. [Like, before I got pregnant and I wrote up two lists of name for my aunt durring her pregnancy.] And then I just added middle names starting with the same letter that also had the same number of letters..

Anyway, I'd like to know what you think of our names.. But also DESPRITELY want suggestions!

Thank you in advance,
Jocelyn & Thomas<3

Hey! Well here's my suggestions: ;)
I kinda think Victoria Elizabeth & Vincent Alexander are kinda pompous (sorry Thomas) and I personally do not like Victoria. It seems to common. Vincent I like, but not Alexander. (But my opinion doesn't matter) I like your pick for the girl!!! But maybe for the boy you could find a "A" name to compromise?

Aribella Kate is super cute (plus I love names with a potential nn). Princeton isn't my taste, but it's not bad; but I like it paired with Kale. My minor suggestion, only cause I love the spelling so, is to add a y to Kayte and Kayle (:

Victoria and Elizabeth are both names I love as a mn, but I like Vincent Alexander.

Some more pairing suggestions might be...
Matthew Robert and Mikenna Grace/Kayte (same fi, different mi)
Malachi/Malakai "Kai" James and Jordana (pronounced Jor-dan-ah or Jor-day-nah) "Dana" Maree/Marie (f and m i switched)
Andrew Vincent and Ariana Victoria (same fi, same mi)

Do you like any? would you like more?

What about Aribella Kate with Vincent Alexander? They sound nice together without being twin-themed/matchy. Both nice classic names that aren't overused. IMO Vincent and Victoria are both such strong serious V names so together it sounds too much.

Princeton I really don't care for (sorry!)

I would personally choose a name which is easy for people to spell and pronounce, that people will recognise (even if it's not super popular) and which has a nice sound.

For example, Aribella is very pretty, but I would spell it Arabella because that is the more usual spelling. If you spell it Aribella, then you'd have to correct people and say "it's Aribella with an I", which could be a pain. I would always go with the most common spelling. Princeton is not really my style, but it's okay.

Maybe you could compromise with your boyfriend by each choosing one name? Or you could choose first names and he could choose middle names. For example, Victoria Kate and Princeton Alexander.

Thanks everyone!(:
We're still very undecided... But atleast we have a few more names to add to our list!(:

Love Matthew & Mikenna!(: [Although, I prefer the spelling Mackenna(:]
Also, I actually thought Aribella was the spelling of that name.. >.> I do definitely love the spelling Arabella better, though(:

Anyway, Thomas' mom was giving me loads & loads of name suggestions [She's VERY excited. lol(:] and one that especially stuck was Liam & Julia. I though it was so cute. Opinions? &What about middle names?
Maybe Liam Parker? Liam Andrew? Liam _____? Julia Paige? Julia _____?

Also, I would definitely love to be able to honor Thomas by naming his son after him.. So any suggestions about a girls name that would pair well with Theodore Thomaswould be most appreciated(:

Hi! As I was reading I really like the name, malakai james . Maybe you could pair it up with kaia jade? As in malaKAI and KAI add a A at the end it's pronouned kai-ah there is mutiple ways of spelling it. Like kaia, kaya, kaiah. Just a suggestion. Also maybe nathan james and katelyn jade. I like the whole james and jade paired up for middle names lol. Well best of luck!

Lol, this is kind of late coming but...

If you switched around your names a bit... You could get Arabella and Alexander, which would satisfy both you and your boyfriend. They're both strong and awesome names too, with tons of nickname potential.

Just a suggestion :)

If not, you could do Liam Alexander, which flows well together and Juliet Arabella (instead of Julia) so then you have matching names. But I wouldn't use Arabella as a middle name for Julia.

For Julia, you could do... Julia Annabel, Julia Alice or Julia Aveline. Or you could use your mother's name, or your boyfriend's mother's name. as her middle name. That kind of makes everything easier :)

Anyways, hope it helped and good luck!!

Aribella should be spelled Arabella. Kale seems odd to me, since it's a vegetable. What about Karl?

Victoria Elizabeth and Vincent Alexander. Hmm. Victoria and Vincent are related (the come from the same Latin verb, vincere, which means "to conquer"), so I would avoid using them together. Also, Victoria doesn't flow with Elizabeth.

I really like Kale as a middle name! I think it's interesting and different yet appropriate for a middle name. I'm not a fan of the other first names you like. I do like the idea of the same letter for twins or at least a similar sounding consonant or vowel.
Here are my suggestions of other names you may like based on what you've posted.

Girls: Anastasia, Aria, Anneliese
Boys: Asher, Ethan, Ian

* complementary vowel names.

I like Arabella and Princeton a lot, but not the other two. Here are my suggestions.
Madyson Gayle and Mason Tyler
Sutton Reese and Ethan James
Chloe Paige and Liam Nicholas
Juliana Elizabeth and Jonathan Henry
London Caroline and Matthias Reed
Ireland Paris and Malibu Grey
Cayle Ariana and Jordan Michael
Bailey Jocelyn and Andrew Thomas (Middle names are yours and your boyfriends!)
Auralee Lilly and Asher Daniel
Hope some of these are to your liking, Congratulations!
