im watching sunrse this morn, this is a 2 yr old girl who's parents split up before officially naming her and so both parnts started calling her 2 different names, the aus government had to step in and name the poor child because she was getting confused and not responding to anyting and her birth cert had no name!! i mean i understand its hard to name a child the perfect name but wow, 2 yrs! this kid has whacky parents!!!!! how could you do that?

My family had a dog a whole year before we finally agreed on a name. Pretty much every other day we were trying different names on the poor animal. He was so friendly he pretty much came to anything you called him :) It was just difficult coming up with something we could all agree on when you have 5 opinionated people living in one household giving input.

But a dog and a child are two very different things.

Sounds like they were taking out their differences on their child by being petty and not agreeing on a name.
