Hi guys, how do you feel about the name Kate? Just want to know if you would use it, or other nicknames, as standalones. Thanks!

I like Kate as a standalone name, but only as a middle. I had Everleigh Kate on my list for a while. Personally, if I were using it for a first name (if my little girl would go by Kate), I would definitely make it short for Kathryn.
I also really like the nickname Ever (short for Everly/Everleigh) as a standalone name as well! But those are really the only two I'd use personally.

Kate is a beautiful name! I honestly prefer Kate on its own.
If I were ever to call my Daughter Kate, I would use it as a full name.. not as a nickname to Kathryn, Kaitlin etc..
So yes, Kate on its own.. In my opinion... is lovely!
