Full name / Nickname
Well, as I'm super into rock bands and music, I've been thinking about the name Pantera for a girl, and then using Terra as a nickname.
Sabbath - Sabby
Nirvana - Vanna
Evanescence - Eva / Vanna
Paramore - Morie???
Halestorm - Hale / Hallie / Stormie
Can you think of any other ones and what do you think of Pantera-Terra and the other ones I've come up with? I'm thinking the idea works best with older, more classic bands. Halestorm is really pushing it.

Honestly, I think it's a bit of a stretch and don't really care for any of them. I think Sabbath might be okay on a boy though, because it has a meaning as well as being rock-band-related, though I can't see it on a girl.

I listen to rock too, mostly 60's/70's but modern too - from your list I like Nirvana (Vanna as a nickname is really cute!) and Evanescence.
Rhiannon - Ann or Rhi (not a band but still)
Santana - Ana
Zeppelin - Zep?
Ramona (instead of the Ramones) - Rammy?
Nazareth - Naz/Nazz
Oasis - O?
Yeah that probably doesn't really help but idk.

I really like Nirvana - Vanna and Evanescence - Eva! I think those are both lovely names even if you weren't basing them on bands, but I really like names with musical connections, too.
(Anecdote time: I had a friend whose parents were really into metal, they named him Bruce Michael (after the Alice Cooper guitarist) and then named his sister Lucifer, with the nickname Lucie! A bit more out there than yours, ha ha!)
