I haven't bothered with a name list in ages, especially since I found out I was pregnant. A few weeks ago I took the name we had picked for our baby to be if he had been a girl and decided to use it to start a list with. (Somtimes, I wish he was a girl so we could use it.) and then I remembered my favorite GP boy name matched it :) so my list is two names, Wren Elise and Finch Alexander.

That being said, I've actually had a small name-storm go on over here and I have some names I've always adored and a new name thrown together to make some combos that are possibly list worthy. And now I've come to you for opinions/thoughts/and all that jazz :) Here's what I have so far!

Ryeland Emma/Sofia
Alyssa Marley
Jacelyn Sofia
Bay Evelyn
Aubree Victoria

Benjamin Ryeland/Alistair
Ryeland Noah
Issac Grey
Gavin Wyatt

I also have the middle name Lex on my boys list as a possibility.

And I know that 99.999999999999% of everyone hates the name Jacelyn, but I can't let it go just yet :)

Bay Evelyn is gorgeous! <3
And I love Isaac Grey too!

How is Jacelyn pronounced? Is it Jack-lyn or Jace-lyn or something else?

I don't have time to comment fully right now, but just had a gorgeous thought. Benjamin Alistair Lex would be super handsome! I love it for my GP list, but wdyt?

ah! I adore it!
Alistair is such a GP name for me but it seems balanced in that combo, if that makes sense

Jacelyn's nice :) It reminds me of Jocelyn, which I love!

Jacelyn Sofia is my favorite of your girl's names.

Benjamin Alistair is my absolute favorite of your boy's names! I love it soooooooooo much! Alistair is so handsome.

Isaac Grey and Gavin Wyatt are both nice, too :) I like Noah, but I'm not big on Ryeland.

I didn't even think about it being close to Jocelyn. I adore Jocelyn  I actually came up with it by accident. Mashing Jaycee and Lynn together

I love love Wren Elise and Finch Alexander!! Ahh!!! <3 Both too darn cute.. <3

I already mentioned before I like Aubree Victoria a lot, and Isaac Grey ;) <3

And of course I really like Leighton! ;) So pretty! Are you thinking boy or girl? Even though I brought it up in the feminine sense, I really like it either gender <3 Leighton Alexandra!! <3

** and I just wanted to say, when Jacelyn is put next to Jocelyn, it actually makes it more appealing to me. I wont lie, I was utterly opposed to Jacelyn at first. Just rubbed me the wrong way, sorry! -_- But I am really growing on Jocelyn, especially after meeting quite a few precious itty bitty babies with the name recently. And honestly they are a like, and it does make Jacelyn feel more legitimate to me! I mean, I still adore Jace on a boy so I'll always have reservations on it. But yeah. Figured it was necessary to say :P

I had thought about using Leighton for either actually. A fn/mn for a girl and a mn for a boy. I feel if I were to use it as a first for a boy, then it would need to be spelled Layton and ...ugh... just ugh

I actually prefer Leighton for a boy, although it's really not my favourite. I'd spell it Lleyton, which is a spelling I adore, it just looks more masculine to me. Layton would be trendy, but it's not a spelling I like the look of personally.

There was a guy I knew in college named Leighton, although I'm not sure about the spelling. He was actually the first person I ever met with that name. I'll need to see if I can figure it out via facebook :)

EDIT: Looks like he spelled it Leighton. :)

I've always used it for a girl. I guess that could be Leighton Meester's fault lol Though, I think it would work with either in the right combo.

random little side question, how does everyone PN Evelyn?

WELL. I work at Crabtree & Evelyn which the corperate says Evelyn is pronounced EVE-lyn, a long E like easy at the beginning. However, we're also told thats because we're an English store and the English apparently pronounce Evelyn as such. However, I think its 50/50 in America. In my experience, half the customers walking by call it EEE-vlin, while half call it ehv-eh-lyn (the beginning e like in elephant). :D

I pronounce it the last way you mentioned. I was wondering because I know pronunciation can be what makes some like a combo and vice versa. I had thought about it when you mentioned something about Bay Evelyn (yes, I'm that lazy I won't scroll back up to get what it was )
