Hey, I'm in the beginning process of starting another book & I can't think of what names to use.
The main character is a 17 year-old girl who used to party all the time until she got pregnant. She's abused by her parents. She's a strong (both mentally & physically) girl. I need both a first & last name for this crazy teen.
The main character's friend is also 17 & tends to go with the main character to parties to try & keep the main character out of trouble. She's the typical all american girl & is usually the good girl of the two. Her last name is Davids. She & the main character are so close the consider themselves almost sisters.

It might be a cool idea to give her a "good girl" type name to contrast with her wild behavior and bad life circumstances. Here are some ideas:

Josie (either by itself or as a nn. for Josephine, etc.)
