My wife and I like unique but strong sounding names, like Xander or but not sure I'd we should name our boy Timothy Xander Baker, because I the "er"s help

I think Timothy Xander is a great name. I can understand your apprehension to using names that rhyme with Baker, usually it is something that I would avoid. However, I don't think it is a huge issue when the name is in the middle name spot. If you and your wife both love Xander, then I say go for it. If you aren't sure, maybe you will like these suggestions...

I'm kinda partial to Xander though. My middle son is Xander Isaiah.

I don't like Xander but Xavier or Tucker sound better to me. But Tucker doesn't go with Timothy
