My husband and I have decided on Miles as a first name if we have a boy. We're considering the middle name Linwood as it is my father's (and was my grandfather's) middle name and he'd be thrilled if we included it in our baby's name. However, I wanted a biblical name in there somewhere and I really like the name Jude.

Which of these combinations do you like best?

Miles Jude
Miles Linwood
Miles Linwood Jude

Miles is such a handsome name. Jude is ver ynice as well, but I'm a sucker for honoring family so I'm going to have to go with Miles Linwood. I also think it sounds a little better with Miles. Miles Linwood Jude is a nice compromise if you're reallyy stuck.

Oh and your other children have great names!

I love love love Miles!!!!! It's absolutely fantastic! I'm sorry, but I don't like Linwood at all. Miles Jude is the way to go!

i like Miles Jude best out of the 3. my favorite Miles combo is Miles Edward

I'm still not 100% sure (although I have till Sept. to figure it out). But my dad was the last male in the Alexander family (and I'm his only child), so he never got the chance to pass his name down to a son, which is why my son's first name is Alexander.

I considered using his first name, David, as a middle name (which would also fulfill my desire for a biblical name) but my husband pointed out that Miles David is too close to Miles Davis. :-)
