I came across the name Caledonia the other day and it's been stuck in my head ever since. The nn Callie is cute but I was wondering what you all thought of Caledonia?

I just think of the island, New Caledonia

But in saying that, it's quite a cute name. I would never use it.

I think it would be kind of strange to meet a person with the name, but if they went by Callie all the time then it wouldn't really be anything out of the ordinary

It's not a name I would have ever thought of!
I adore the nickname Callie, but usually only for Calista or Calliope.

Caledonia just reminds me of the place.
Over all, it's not a bad name though!
I can see it's appeal. (;
