So I have been planning ahead names and age spacing for our kids. At first all i wanted was 3 then I really started to think and realise i would like 4. My husband and I are trying to have our first. and I have often spoke about what if we had 3 boys and 1 girl. and other way around. So far thats where Im stuck his family has at least 1 boy and then girls. so I have names for boys I only have two name I love for girls. but I would like to see what would sound good with the names. I will post names at the bottom what we like. and as far as spacing them. I guess 1 year and a half or 2 years apart. How did you do it. were all the kids planned, some came unexpected?

Thanks :)

Baby names we like

Boy names:

Benjamin Alisdare . - This is a name we both agreed on and always calls our first born boy.

Caden Elliot - I found this name on a baby site and loved it was an old Gaelic name means "Battle" Just didn't know how popular it was.

Liam Emerson - Husband picked out William, but I have a cousin William who we are not wanting to name after, So I suggested Liam. :)

Baby girl:

Marin Elise -I love this name. Marin/Maren Is another name for Mary and thats my husband's grandmothers name. Her middle name was Alice. We wanted to use Elise.

Bailey Lee - I like Bailey, But husband will not change her middle name. Bailey already has Lee in it but it's a family name.

Benjamin Alisdare is so handsome, I love it!
Caden Elliot is nice, even though Caden is super popular.
I love both Liam and Emerson, but I dislike the repeating sounds of Am Em. What about Liam Elliot & Caden Emerson? <3

Marin Elise is sooo lovely, it fits perfectly with Benjamin Alisdare.

Bailey Lee is okay, but I would automatically assume it was a boy. What about Bailey _____ & another name with the mn Lee?

Thanks, I have had Benjamin as my top favorite name as far as I can remember and when my husband and i were engaged and talking about babies, Benjamin was the first name I said and he said I like it. Alisdare another name for Alexander. It sounds nice, but the intials spell out B.A.D which when ever we give him a nick name we could say he's Bad to the bone. :)

My mother had a friend who is kinda a aunt to me, Has a grand daughter Bailey. I really like Bailey and I have stopped trying to change his mind on the whole middle name. Although I'm trying to make sure our first girl is Marin.

I am kinda shocked at my husband's style of names. As he picked out Elliot for Caden. and Emerson for Liam. Which might be William just calling him Liam. :) Atleast he is letting me have the names we both like mixed together.

Benjamin Alisdare - its not my style, but its nice!

Caden Elliot - I hate how popular Caden is, cause its so handsome! But, its popular for a reason ;) I love Elliot too. Caden Elliot sounds very handsome!

Liam Emerson - I love Liam, but again dislike popularity. I do have Levi on my list though. I loooove Emerson! I have it on both my girls and boys list haha.

Marin Elise - Marin is sweet, soft, and pretty :) The combo is very lovely. I like!

Bailey Lee - I like Bailey a lot too. I don't care for the combo, but maybe you could bring up that your honoring Lee in a way through Bailey? Or even Liam has the Lee or Elise has a Lee as well. You could maybe spell it Baylee if that makes him happier.

Its funny, before having my son, I always thought I'd have 3 kiddos and space them apart by 2/3 years. Now that I have him, plans have changed entirely :) I do love planning my list for a bunch of kids but way more than I'll ever actually use haha. I'm taking it as I go now :) We'll know when we're ready for a second. At this point, we're taking in the new baby bliss ;) (Archer is 4 mo old now). I guess I also don't want to be dealing with too much during potty training and morning sickness with a little would be hard. I'd not base genders on his side of the family though. Your the one carrying, so if anything you'd relate more to the birth patterns within your fam, you know? Also, your body is unique, so your birth patterns will be too :) I'd only plan for #1, and let the next ones come as they will. GL!

Thank you, I actually like Levi, I did suggest Elijah once because it had the Ja like Benjamin. but he didn't like it. I guess he only thought of Elijah Wood when I said it. lol Which he likes lord of the rings but I guess he didn't want to explain that's not the reason I name him Elijah. I have other names i liked I use to like the name Kaylie but it's so close to Bailey. and other boy names i like are. Trent, Landen,Travis,Frederick, Which my husband's name is Rick.  But I can see my style hasn't changed to much just a different letter.

As far as my side of the family goes, My mother said I was must likely going to have twins. Because she said both on hers, and my dad side had twins about 3 generations ago and she thought she was going to have twins. So who knows. i like the idea of twins. but my dad side was usually boys born first and then girls. but my youngest cousin is a boy his sister was born first. My mom side my uncles had all boys. I'm the only girl. other than what my cousins had. Which one has one boy and one girl. I'm not worried what I will have we will be happy with whatever :) but you know how men need there little co-captains.

I love Elijah too, too bad! Benjamin is a strong, handsome option too though :) Lol men can be funny like that. My SO downs the names I like often and has funny excuses. I'm sure he feels that way about my reasons too sometimes though ;) lol. Both Kaylie and Bailey are adorable, I've had Bailey off and on my list. Bailey Victoria <3 Aw I like Landen! Trent, Travis, and Frederick are nice. Maybe he'd agree to Frederick as a middle to honor him?

You never know! I remember wishing I could have twins when I was younger, but after experiencing labor and delivery.. eek! I respect women who bear twins haha. I birthed without meds though, so just thinking back.. I'm happy it was just one ;) I read all about gender likelihoods when I was TTC :) I guess male sperm are quick swimmers but they die sooner. And female sperm are slow but live long. So.. if you conceive close to ovulation, it ups likelihoods of a boy. And vice versa :P Its fun trying to predict! My SO actually kinda hoped for a girl while I was set believing I'd have a boy.. I tease him and call it mothers intuition lol

Yea, I think for now we will just think about our first and then see what will happen. :) Maybe that way I will have the names back in my head, but who knows we might change the names by then by the time baby 2 and 3 come. I really think Benjamin and Marin are nice together. Liam and Caden are ok together. I just wish they were not as popular. Out of all the names Marin is more out of the top 100 names.

Haha yea I think guys do that, when we come up with a name and they have that look of No writen on there face and theyre like if you like we can use that name. even though they don't like it as much as another. Thats my thing he loves Bailey and I'm wanting to use Marin for first girl. Then he says ok fine. then later he'll say We'll see. lol. Either way I be happy with Bailey or Marin. :)

I have five names on my boys list right now, but no way I'm having five more kids lol! I think Liam and Caden work great together, both Irish and they feel youthful and fun :) I get you on the popularity thing. I dont mind a little popularity, but only so much haha.

Hah yeah he gives me ridiculous looks all the time! Mostly on my girls names :( My SO wont compromise though, if he dislikes it its vito'd. It all changes once your getting ready for arrival though. SO was so much more lenient on our name list, but once our list was for serious he vito'd a bunch :( Who knows, once you see his/her face one name may feel better than another :)
