Hi, I am due in 6 wk, and we don't know what we're having.. I would love to use the name Mireille as a middle name for a girl, but am having a hard time coming up with a first name to go with it. Mireille is pronounced meer-ray... Any suggestions? Thanks!

A lovely French spelling, though it's going to be constantly mispronounced as MEER-ELL. (But you probably know that!)

The middle name makes me think of France, so my natural thoughts for a first name were French: Alice, Charlotte, Avril, Madeline, Penelope, Judith, Lilian/Liliane/Lilianne, Melanie...

I like the sound of a 3 or 4 syllable first name to go with the middle name. Melanie or Jacqueline are both cute.

I agree that a longer first name would work with this as a middle name! I love Mireille by the way, it's gorgeous <3

Jacqueline Mireille

Rosalyn Mireille

Deborah Mireille

Veronica Mireille

Allison Mireille

Annabel Mireille

Also a one-syllable name would work:

Ada Mireille

Lynn Mireille

Rose Mireille

hope this helped! <3
