Martin is still stuck on Blaire. I use to like it but over the years its gotten stale and I just don't love it anymore. I spent all day yesterday throwing new names at him and he didn't like any of them.
He is absolutely in love with it but he can't give me a reason why he loves it so much.
He won't waver on the middle name either but I can deal with Hyacinth despite it being well beyond the realm of normal.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to love a name again?

It stinks he won't play with new combos, though Blaire Hyacinth is lovely.

Blaire is a cute, preppy choice that would age well, it would fit a woman just as well as a little girl. Maybe picture yourself with a little Blaire, imagine what she would look like and what her personality would be. Imagine calling for Blair and her [imaginary] siblings, maybe Isaac and Ethan (they'd be fantastic in a sibset with Blaire!). Recently I've though of adding her to my middle name's list.

I think that part of the problem is I can't picture myself with a daughter. The whole concept seems foreign to me.
We've had that combo sitting around for three years, less time thsn we've had Isaac on the list, but it seems "stale".

I'm sorta the same way, picturing myself with a daughter is so difficult! But seeing myself with a house full of little boys is so easy.

Maybe if you toy with some new combos on your own and then show the best ones to Martin, he could find a new combo to love?

Blaire Magnolia has a similar feel, or Blaire Jacinda, maybe.

Blaire Lorelei, Blaire Evangeline, Blaire Cassiopea, Blaire Annalie, Blaire Primrose, Blaire Serena...

I know he won't budge on Hyacinth. I've tried.
I like Jacinda but its a name of a friend of his that caused issues with us. And was our first BIG fight.
I'd wish he'd move a little on Blaire. Avery kind of has the same feel to me but he likes it as much as I like Blaire.
I've spent my free time trying to find something to spark me into thinking about having a daughter. I just haven't found much.
