Hello all! I am new to the board and needing some help. My husband and I are expecting a baby in October. We don't know what we are having yet but are looking at names. We love the 1st name Abigail if it is a girl, but are having a hard time coming up with a middle name. Overall we prefer classic/traditional names. Our last name begins with "O" and is one syllable.

Any suggestions you could give for a middle name for Abigail would be greatly appreciated.

I think a two syllable middle name would flow best...that way it'd be 3:2:1. I'd stay away from short one syllable middle names because they would sound too choppy with your last name, three syllables would be okay but I think a two syllable name would be best. I might also stay away from middle names begining with H to avoid the AHO initials.
