So, I've decided to make a name list with names on it that Nick and I agree on. When we were naming Hayleigh, he picked Hayleigh and I picked Elisabeth. So, we had an equal say in her name. With Hays, he decided she would be called Hayleigh. So, I figure since I chose Aasyn's name that if we were to have a boy, that Nick would chose what he would be actually called, and I get dibs on the next girl So ,name wise, I know he loves Alexander, Dallas, and Nicholas for boys, and Elise & Victoria for girls.

This is all I have so far in my name storming. :/ Maybe this weekend I can get a broader range of names from him.

Auburn Elise nn Brynn - I live fairly close to a town called Auburn. For whatever reason, names of towns you live near just feel weird. It ruined the idea of ever thinking Boston, Hudson, Salem, Meredith, Dover, etc. They just all feel... dirty. Though Auburn is a beautiful town (especially in comparison to Boston). Especially in the fall! You'd drive by sites like this ALL the time in the fall <3 Very picturesque. So maybe Auburn is a pleasant place name lol. I don't see Brynn as a nick name though, as the end of Auburn is typically said how it looks: BURN.


Aubrey Elise nn Bree - I like this combo as well. Aubrey is on my list <3 I like! Now that I'm picturing the roads I've driven regularly down in Auburn though (especially in the fall) its so growing on me

Hannah Elise - I think this one clashes a little bit :/ the ending -ah with the beginning E-

Katelyn Elise nn Kate - cute

Molly Elise - I think the endings clash here as well <3

Penelope Elise nn Penny - I want to like it, but the clashing -EE with E-

I love the color Auburn it's one of my favorite hair colors. And ironically, it's the name of a city/college here in Alabama. It's the rival team to my favorite college team, Alabama. Auburn University's mascot is an eagle and a tiger (don't ask, because I cant explain), and University of Alabama is the Crimson Tide, but the mascot is an elephant (this I can explain. One of their first games ever, the broadcaster said that the Crimson Tide looked like a herd of elephants trampling the field when they were running out. So, it stuck. I guess stinking Auburn copied them with something else. Jerks o_O) Anyways. I felt Auburn was a less trashy way of using state/college team names. Too many kids named Crimson around here. anyways!

I was thinking about seeing if Nick would compromise on Elise and maybe use Annelise? I would have to do more name storming, but Elise isn't working with much that we agree on. I honestly can't come up with anything that I love. it's kind of depressing actually.

And I need to check out Mike's list you posted! Normally when I have the chance to sit down on the computer and do anything without interruption, I'm never here long because the chair hurts my back after a while, and then when I get on my phone, I'm usually in bed and I end up going to sleep without knowing it I think it's cute that Nick and Mike actually have name lists. Nick even said it didnt bother him to name storm and go through names with me.
