Martin recently said that he likes Eve which made me a happy person because I like Eva. So I was thinking is too much to have a sibset of Lilith and Eve/Eva?

You'd be surprised at how few people make that connection. Now if you had a son named Adam and a daughter named Eve on the other hand, that's a bit much. But Lilith and Eve/Eva are cute together.

I agree. Fewer people than you would imagine would make the connection. It's a very nice sibset. :)

Shay--In the Bible, God made Lilith to be Adam's wife. But she was disobedient so God got rid of her and made the obedient Eve from Adam's rib.

I have a friend named Eve. She's lovely. :)

That helps. I didn't know if it was because dad's family is religious but the moment I thought of them together I was concerned. But it seems like the consensus is its okay.

Welp, I had no idea they were connected until now. So I think you're probably okay unless you live in a place that is super religious or something like that.

Since Lillith and Adam is just folklore, not actually in the Bible, It's probably fine. Most people wouldn't make the connection. Eva would probably be better than Eve to be safe.

Thanks guys. Martin refuses to use anything but Eve now. He didn't make the connection until I mentioned and he thinks it's the coolest thing ever.
I asked the same thing to nameberry and got a very resounding don't do it from them so I'm a bit torn.

Honestly, how many times do you go up to people and say "Hi, my name is Erin. I have brothers/sisters and their names are..."
I know I don't, so I don't think there is any danger with an already iffy connection.

Edit: I meant this as a positive by the way!

If she went by Lily, no one would ever know! They would know the set as Lily and Eve. No biggie there.

I still say go for it :)

I think Lilith and Eve/Eva make an adorable sibset! I didn't notice the question, and I doubt many people would. You should use it anyway! :)
