Honestly I vote for the theme of choosing names you like. That means not forcing any specific theme where you end up choosing names you don't love just because it fits the theme.

Honestly the only theme I really personally like (and follow) are family names (all of my children have/will have them but I do LOVE the names we are using from the family) and they all have a specific style. Caia and Magnus are uncommon names while Rose and James are common middle name choices as well as family names.
