I've been re-working some of my characters, and would like some opinions. I'm writing a story about an all-girls performing arts boarding school.

- They don't feel very believable to me as siblings. The first names feel too different style wise for me. With Ryan I would pair something as equally 'mainstream' ie. Jessica, Lauren etc. and Monet needs something as equally exciting and edgy ie. August, Beckett etc.

-Amelia & Madeleine work well together, not so sure about Marcus. I would do something like Sebastian, Julian, Adrian etc. something that matches the softness of the girls names.

- Charlotte, Helena & Sophia are well matched. I could even deal with Addison though Adelaide or Adeline would be perfect in the set. I don't like that Chantal's mn is Madison with a sister called Addison, they are too close for sisters imo. Chantal & Mercy really don't have the same feel as the other names imo. With Charlotte, Helena & Sophia I like: Lydia, Adelaide, Adeline, Audrey, Emmeline, Vivienne, Josephine etc.

- Story isn't working for me here. Natalia & Alessandra both have a very European exotic feel that Story just doesn't have. With Natalia & Alessandra I would pair Mila, Anastasia, Gabriella etc. Something exotic with an 'a' ending would be best matched imo.

- I would spell it Corinne since you used the traditional spelling of Isabelle. Otherwise I think they make a great set.

Your welcome I love the changes! They all really feel like siblings to me! A great site when trying to match up sibling sets is Nymbler.com you enter the names you have already decided on and the program gives you names that match that style. Sibling names don't always have to match but I find that someone who would name one child Appolonia for example probably wouldn't name their next child Bob Good luck with your story!
