So lately I've been thinking about how my own favorite names fit in with my neice's names Gracie & Luci.

Gracie & Luci are very similar both two syllables and ending in the -CEE sound.

If I had a girl, my number one name at the moment is Edie. But since Edie is also two syllables and not only ends in the -EE sound but also begins with the EE sound I'm wondering if it is just too much. :) (Plus if you add in me and my sister's names: Katie, Sally & Maddie, it is double confusing)

So my question is...Is Gracie, Luci & Edie TOO much??

And if I have a boy, one of my top two names is Wiley. Gracie, Luci & Wiley might not be too bad. And my other favorite name Eller is a complete different story ... too different?? Gracie, Luci & Eller?

IDK maybe I'm just over thinking things.

I think thats fine. (:

And I think Gracie, Luci and Edie sounds nice!!

Plus, its not like they are siblings, you won't be introducing them like "This is Edie, she has cousins named Gracie and Luci"
If you get what I'm saying.

I think all three names are really nice. (:

I think you're overthinking things! Gracie, Luci & Edie are great names! It'd be another thing if they were named Molly, Polly & Holly or something rhymey like that but your names are fine. & like beforeifall said, they're probably not ever going to be introduced together like they would be if they were siblings and even if they were I still think its fine. Stop worrying!(:

I think its fine (; Dont stress over it, as everyone else said they arent siblings, so it will be fine.
Gracie, Luci and Edie sound cute together <3

They sound darling together! :)

I think Gracie, Luci and Edie would make an adorable cousins set :P They aren't siblings, so it's not like they'll be introduced together or anything as BeforeIFall mentioned. And I think you and your sisters names wouldn't get confused with all the eeeee sounds at all! Because in Edie's case, you'd be mum. To all her friends, if they don't call you mum as well (seeing as I do that to all my friends parents! :D) then you'll be Mrs. B which wouldn't be confusing. To Gracie and Luci, you'd be Auntie Katie, though Aunie Nana would be extremely cute! :D And so on and so fourth, so I dunno :) It makes sense in my mind... <3

Don't over think it Katie! Edie is so precious a name, I love it so much myself actually! I've been debating putting it on my list all day today... though it's so close to Evie </3 Can't decide which I like more... D:

I realize that they wouldnt be together all the time. And even though I don't plan to have any children in the near future, at the moment we do all live together and it is already starting to get confusing. :P I was so used to saying Gracie that now I'm call both Gracie and Luci "Gracie" lol. I was just getting used to having one baby around an now there are TWO!!! And among family I don't want it to be too confusing, even when later on we are living separately they will still be the grandbabies: Gracie, Luci & _____.

But now that I think about it, I guess Gracie, Luci & Edie -or- Gracie, Luci and Wiley aren't too bad.

I so hope you get a boy and a girl later on when you plan to have babies! They'll be named so gorgeously! Edie Laurence and Wiley Christopher!!! :) (those are correct, right lol? It'd be sad if I got that wrong haha!!!) Such precious names indeed :P <3

Yep you said it right. I'm pretty sure those are my tops at the moment, though Eller James for a boy is a close second. I'd probably have a hard time getting the father to agree on Eller :P My mom and everyone else seems to think I'll be the one to have all the boys in the family.

Haha! I kinda like Eller James, cause it definitely has a handsome masculine appeal to it :) Though I don't think enough people appreciate Eller as much as it deserves... <3 Maybe you'll get lucky and find a daddy who has a good taste in names! :) Though, both Eller and Wiley are handsome, so either way is good. If he doesn't like either... then he doesn't know a good name when he see's one! :D Haha, hopefully you'll have a boy! Maybe it's a hereditary thing... only giving birth to girls! :P Haha!

That has sort of been my hypothesis for a while now. My great-grandmother had two daughters, my grandmother had three daughters and my mom and her sisters all had girls (7 total) and now both of my sisters have girls. NO BOYS! My theory was that maybe our eggs are only permeable to the female gene :) But it only works for my direct line cause my grandmother's sister had a boy and two girls and both of her daughters had boys. :P

I think you should definitely go with something besides Edie. Just saying. (I've got my boxing gloves ready, Katie :P)
