Hmm.

I like both names, but I'm not too crazy about the nn of Lilah..

I think Lily is a name in itself.. and maybe Lilah is too short to have the nickname Lily? If that makes sense. <3

I love Lilah but I think it's fine on its own...no need for a nickname. If you like Lily, name her Lily.

I have to agree that Lilah doesn't really need a nickname. Maybe "Li" pronounced Lie, but not really as a nickname, just you know when you shorten someone's name when you talk to them...

for example, my cousin goes by Cassie, but sometime I call her "Cass" even though she doesn't go by it...sorry, I hope that wasn't confusing!

I like Lila, it is at the top of my favorites list. I also like Lily, but I think that when people shorten Lila, they may use Lie or Lyle.. and I do not like that. I am crazy about Charlotte, but don't like the nn Charli, although if I used it for my daughter, I won't mind if her friends call her Charli as long as she likes it.
