I'm starting plans to write a Merlin/Harry Potter crossover fanfic and I need some names for some original characters. As I just began the planning process, I don't really have the characters themselves plotted out just yet. My style of doing things normally means going backwards, such as having character names before characters and story titles before stories, but it works for me! I don't really have much character information to go on because of that, but having some help would be great.
The original characters will, mainly, be the children of existing characters and what I'm looking for particularly are those from the Merlin universe. So what I really want are names that sound like they belong in Arthurian legends, but aren't. At the very least no big characters like Arthur and Lancelot and such things. I could probably get by borrowing names from smaller characters if that's all I can get, but if anyone can give me names that sound like they could belong with those people, I would really appreciate it. Boys and girl names, whatever you can find for me. If you also want to give a description of what sort of character you think should go with that name, be it physical appearance or personality or whose child they should be, feel free to. I'm very open to suggestions
Especially at this stage in planning. But I'm not picky! Just looking for some help.As much as I love names, I have a hard time deciding on things so I'm hoping if someone else can give me ideas it might help settle my ideas quicker. I look forward to seeing everyone's suggestions
EDIT: Also, if you could give me ideas for names of the children of the Hogwarts founders? Rowena Ravenclaw obviously had Helena, but I need ideas for the others, too! Please and thank you!
