I'm in search of strong, manly boys names. I have a little list at the moment if it helps show my taste. It has to match Archie's name (Archer Cohen Bear, in case theres any new people on the board unaware ;) ).

Here's what I've got:

Everett John

Levi Connor / Roman Connor

Brody Charles / Brody Gideon

Odin Theodore (GP)

Gavin _____

Any suggestions? I don't necessarily need combos yet. I'm just looking for single names I can play around with :) Thank you very much for any suggestions!

Thanks Jenna Lee! I like Finn, William, Henry, Garrett, Graham, and Jude. Unfortunately, Mike dislikes William, Henry, Garrett, and Jude  -_- I think Finn and Graham are great for our list though. I see them both as middle names but its definitely something!! Thanks so much :)

Thanks Addy! I like these:

Josiah

Ezekiel (I agree on Gavin Ezekiel! It flows perfect and sounds so strong)

Silas

Griffin

Thatcher

Theodore

William

Judah

Eli

Funny enough my mum was kinda hoping I'd use Joshua as that was my little brothers name. He's the reason I used Bear in Archers name though (I called him Joshy Bear). Levi is one of our faves now :D Unfortunately some of these have already been vetod from Mike, but I still love them

Do you think Thatcher and Archer would be too much? I love so many -er names, but I dont think I could use them <3 I'm loving Gavin Ezekiel though, eep! Thank you!

The more I hear Gavin Ezekial, the more handsome it sounds <3

Hmmm. I think Archer and Thatcher could work, though they are pretty matchy. If Thatcher was in the middle spot, then it wouldn't matter. Like maybe Levi Thatcher?

I'm really falling for Gavin Ezekiel ah  Its funny as I've had Ezekiel on and off my list and wouldnt use it as a first being I dont love Zeke as a nick name. Works perfect here though <3

I think it could be pulled off in the middle, though it might bother me in my head. I suppose Thatcher could be a GP though.. Odin Thatcher is really handsome. I like :)

Everett John - I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Everett although I do like both parts (Ever and Rhett) seperately, which is weird. John is very handsome and classical, although it doesn't really go with Archie's middle name. This is a very strong feeling combo though, and I do like Archer and Everett as siblings; Archie and Rhett <3

Levi Connor / Roman Connor - I love Roman Connor, I think it suits you so well, and I think Archer and Roman is such a handsome sibset! Levi is nice, and I can see it as Archie's brother, but I much prefer Roman Connor as a combo. Roman Levi Connor would be handsome too, and it fits with the two mn thing :)

Brody Charles / Brody Gideon - I like Brody, but I feel like with Charles and Gideon it fits better as a middle name; Charles Brody is very handsome (as is Archie and Charlie <3), and Gideon Brody is equally as handsome. Out of these combos I much prefer Brody Charles, the flow is better for me, although I do love Gideon.

Odin Theodore (GP) - I'm not a fan of Odin, but I love Theodore. This is a cute GP though :)

Gavin _____ - I don't like Gavin, it rubs me the wrong way for some reason. It is strong sounding though. Gavin Theodore would be handsome <3

Hmm, some boys names that I think sound strong are:

Dexter

Edward

Elliott

Thomas

William

Wilson

Caius

James

Percy

Hugo

Roscoe

Callum

Lorcan

Corbin

Edison

Reeve

Flynn

Phoenix

Wilder

Ajax

Rafferty

Rogan

Saxon

Caleb

Jack

Sorry for any repeats, and I hope this helps some, Remy <3

Thanks Paige and Hannah!

I think Levi Roman Connor would be handsome, but we wont be continuing with a theme of two middle names <3 Mike doesn't like it unfortunately and only agreed because it honors someone who recently passed <3

I like quite a few suggestions!

Caleb

Colton

Flynn

Ezra

Declan

Clayton

Edison

Gideon

William / Wilson

Caius

Callum

Wilder / Wilde

Jack

Rogan

I can totally understand liking parts of a name and not the whole! :) I haven't decided if I prefer Ever / Ev or Rhett as a nick name for Everett, but I love both <3 I'm debating on things that'll match Arch's middle.. I think that'll be hard. Cohen is one that Mike just happened to love and the surname of a bestie of mine tbh. Then Bear is honoring but it definitely is very unique. Both throw a unique and unexpected twist of a middle name while John would be so plain.. yet I like the idea of using it because my little brother told me if he had a son he'd name him John / Johnie plus its one of Mikes absolute favorite names. But John so doesn't match with Cohen Bear ;)

I agree on Brody sounding better as a middle, but Mike said Brody had to be a first name if used.. I've been struggling! I liked Brody Everett until I decided Everett felt like a first name for me. I'm opened to middle name suggestions! I love Gideon and Charles in general <3

Odin is a GP for us <3 Mike likes it too, but a little too Thor for his taste lol. I can understand on Gavin. Funny enough, it used to rub me wrong too. Its just a little while ago where it started sounding appealing to me.

I'm really falling for Theo as a first name tbh :) I'd love some suggestions for MN's for Theo if anyone as them! I think I'm really falling for Archer and Theo as a sibset  they just have such similar feels I think for some reason!

I love Archer & Theo! Also loving Archer, Theo, & Gavin together if you end up with three boys :)

Also, I do think John as an MN would be really sweet, though it is a bit plain.

Theo Gideon Jack
Theo Declan John
Theo Callum John
Theo Percy Beckett / Theo Beckett Percy
Theo John Wilder / Theo Wilder John
Theo Rogan John
Theo Caius Brady
Theo Caius John
Theo Judah Finn
Theo Ezra Griffin
Theo Caleb Drake

Levi Connor and Roman Connor are both very handsome too. I'm totally in love with Roman for if I ever have a boy   OH is pretty relaxed with names and we both have similar tastes anyway so I'm lucky there <3 It's a shame Mike doesn't like the double middles but each to their own! Theo is adorable and it does sound great with Archer. Theo John would be a lovely name. Although John is a little plain it would still be a nice mn  :)

Aw, I do love Archer, Theo, and Gavin together <3 <3 John's bland, and I don't love it generally, but I like the meaning so I don't mind compromising there <3

I love Theo Gideon, Theo Declan, Theo Wilder, and Theo Caleb :) Thanks Addy!

Hehe, Mike adores Roman <3 I love it too, I have for a while. But it feels a little less fresh to me as I've liked it so long.. you know? I think if I have another boy though Roman seems to be the top contender. Aw, thats great he has the same taste! Mike and I's taste in boys names is very, very similar. However, for girls names we're like opposites :/ He likes trendy, popular names and I like old fashioned more unique names. I do like Theo John though, short and cute. I'm just happy he agreed to two middle names for Archer :) I'm not even going to suggest using two middle names as I had to really push to get it for Arch and all even with the meaning. So next kiddo I'm going to let him have more a lead just to be fair <3 Thanks Paige!

Ok, lot's to comment on lol! Let's see if I can try to include everything and not make any repeat suggestions.

First, let me say that I absolutely love your son's name. I usually don't like double middle names, but Archer Cohen Bear has the perfect flow, and it's so handsome. Cohen is a name that is very high on my list right now.  I see how it would be so hard to find a name to go well with his name. I agree that you need a middle name that is equally unique and with the same type of feel as Cohen Bear.

From your initial list, I think Roman, Brody and Gavin work very well as first names that would go well with Archer.  I've never really been a fan of Everett, but there's absolutely no problem with it. I just think the name John doesn't compare at all with Cohen Bear. Have you considered the name Jensen for a middle name, like Everett Jensen?  Gavin Ezekiel is great, and would flow with Archer Cohen Bear, seeing as Ezekiel is pretty uncommon, but sounds really cool.

From some of the suggestions that you liked, I think Roman Silas or Roman Thatcher (even though you didn't think you'd use this) would be nice. I've always loved the name Roman, but I also completely understand what you mean about names losing their freshness. I've had my lists for so long, and have been adding and deleting and altering, but I still don't have any that scream out at me. Good think I'm not expecting just yet!

A few others that I put together from your list:

Brody Griffin

Gideon Caius

Brody Edison

Everett Wilder

Everett Flynn

Colton Silas

Ezra Flynn (although I'm not sure about Archer and Ezra as a sibset)

Theodore Callum

(By the way, some of my favorite names are Caius, Edison, Silas, Colton, and Callum)

And finally, some more suggestions (as if you need anymore!):

Sullivan

Malachi

Porter

Samson

Dashiell

Dominic

Caelan

Abel

Castor

Daylen

Coulter

Tobin

Some names that could be used as a strong, unique middle name to go with Cohen Bear:

Titus / Titan (on my GP list)

Kincade (recent name I fell in love with, also on my GP list)

Braven / Bravery (maybe a little too literal, but they are on my GP list)

Artemis (but maybe too close to Archer)

Athens

Knightley (another GP)

Perceus

Thorin (possibly a little too similar to Thor though, lol)

Cairo

Whew! Ok, so I hope my opinions helped a bit! I have a feeling you'll end up choosing a great name, considering Archer Cohen Bear is so great.
