I've recently met a young girl named Carmie. I honestly fell in love with this name instantly, but I feel like it needs something more, since Carmie is more suited for a young girl than a grown-woman.

 

So I've been considering

Carmelle / Carmella

But, I'm not in love with it. It's just not THE name.

Any suggestions for the nn Carmie?

As well as any feedback or the likes.

I don't love Carmie (but I don't hate it either). I think because it sounds almost identical to Carmine and because it's only one letter off from it looks wise, a girl would get so much trouble with people mistaking her name for that, even when clearly said aloud or written. I really do love Carmine though, I've been considering adding it to my list. You could use Carmine nn Carmie if you really wanted, but again the two names sound nearly identical.
