Firstly, I'd like to know which of these you prefer; Leo or Leon? The middle name will be Spencer, because I've just fallen in LOVE with it, but not as a first name. Either Leo or Leon honours my dad, whose middle name is Leonard. So, basically Leo Spencer or Leon Spencer?

Secondly, what do you all think of Nora Hope? I liked it at first, but it seems to not feel as fresh as I though it did, and the fact that both names contain an 'o' and have four letters kind of bugs me, though I do like the combo, but it just doesn't seem to pop, if that makes sense. Any suggestions for Nora? I had Grace, but the 'r's right next to each other bugged me a little.

Lastly, what do you all think of Ailey (prn EYE-lee)? It's been growing on me slowly, although it's probably more of a guilty pleasure at this point in time. Suggestions for combos? Either as a middle or first name.

Thank you so much you wonderful baby namers (:

I've always thought of Spencer as a first name, but I like Spencer Leon!

I like Nora Hope, but its just seem a little short for me, though I like Nora Grace too.
Suggestions:
Nora Leslie
Nora Caitlin/Katelyn/Etc
Nora Iyana
Nora Isabelle
Nora Irene
Nora Sophia
Nora Victoria
Nora Lily
Nora Rose

Not a big fan of Ailey, makes me think of a child who can't say Kylie or Aileen yet, it also seems more like a nickname for Aileen, but its not awful. It also stikes me as more of a first name rather than a middle.
Suggestions:
Ailey Grace
Ailey Faith
Ailey Anna
Ailey Savannah
Ailey Monique
Ailey Brooke
Ailey Danielle

Leon!

I think Nora Hope is a great combo.

And Ailey is nice, though I think you may have to correct peoples pron. often. I knew a girl named Ailey pron. A-lee.

I love the name Leo (and a similar name I've also recently fallen in love with is Theo--not as a nickname, but as a full name. Just another name for you to think about as well :] )

Leo Spencer is a very handsome combo <3

I like Nora a lot. Though I usually like my names spelled as simply and traditionally as possible, I like Norah spelled this way quite a bit as well. Nora Hope and Nora Grace are both lovely, but they're a bit bland and predicable. I would pair Nora with something more unexpected like:

Nora Primrose
Nora Juliet
Nora Kathleen
Nora Saoirse
Nora Penelope
Nora Evelyn
Nora Ivy
Nora Eden
Nora Quinn

I've been loving Ailey recently too. It's one of those names that is unique, but not crazy. I'm trying to figure out what the best spelling would be, though. I've considered spelling it Isley as well. I also like Isla/Aila/Ayla--and of course Ailey/Isley/Aylie could be a nickname for it because Isla/Aila/Ayla sounds a little more formal than Isley/Ailey/Aylie. I would pair Ailey with something more traditional, like:

Ailey Rose
Ailey Grace
Ailey Marie
Ailey Hope

Thank you so much for the opinions so far!

I think it's a tie between Leo and Leon at the moment, and I like both, so it's hard to choose!

I do think Nora Hope is a little bland, and thanks for the suggestions. I like: Nora Caitlin, Nora Isabelle, Nora Kathleen, Nora Eden and Nora Quinn.

As for Ailey, I think I like it as a nickname for Aila, though it does sound good as a stand alone name too. I like these combos: Ailey Brooke and Ailey Rose.

Thanks so far guys!

Leon has a much better sound, imo. And you can always just call him Lee or Leo.

Well, the first thing I think when I look at it is "No Hope" which is kinda... but as a name, it's well enough. I really like Nora, I just think Hope is overdone as a middle name.

Nora Juliet

Nora Cicely

Nora Helene

Nora Lucille

Nora Yvette

Nora Sadie

Nora Josephine

Nora Harriet

Nora Rosalie

Nora Juniper

Nora Caroline

Lastly, what do you all think of Ailey (prn EYE-lee)? It's been growing on me slowly, although it's probably more of a guilty pleasure at this point in time. Suggestions for combos? Either as a middle or first name. Not really for me, seems like Bailey minus the B or Hailey minus the H. Just doesn't feel like a full name.

Ailey Imogen

Ailey Eleanor

Ailey Susannah

Ailey Natalia

Ailey Gabrielle

Ailey Katrina

Ailey Juliana

I definitely prefer Leo to Leon. For some reason, Leon has always rubbed me the wrong way... not sure why. Leo Spencer is an adorable combo!

Nora Hope is nice, but I understand what you mean about the o's. Here are a few other suggestions:

Nora Shannon
Nora Celeste
Nora Caitlin
Nora Paige
Nora Delaney
Nora Faith
Nora Sage
Nora Peyton
Nora Colette

I'll admit, Ailey has been growing on me too... but I think I would keep it as a guilty pleasure because lots of people would misspell and mispronounce it. I also think Isla is a nice alternative that is a little more common than Ailey. Here are some combo ideas:

Ailey Genevieve
Ailey Jennifer
Ailey Christine / Christina
Ailey Rebecca
Ailey Brielle
Ailey Savannah
Ailey Peyton
Ailey Jessica
Ailey Catherine
Ailey Brianna
Ailey Cassandra
Ailey Jane
Ailey Fiona
Bridget Ailey

Isla Josephine
Isla Rachel
Isla Penelope
Isla Margaret
Isla Millicent
Isla Genevieve
Isla Danielle

Good luck!

Thank you Heather and Meghan!

I think for now I'm going to go with Leon Spencer, because I can call him Leo if I want to, and Leon sounds like a fuller name to me.

Middle names I like for Nora: Caitlin, Isabelle, Kathleen, Eden, Quinn, Lucille, Josephine, Caroline, Celeste.

Middle names I like for Ailey: Brooke, Rose, Susannah, Juliana, Rebecca, Brielle, Jane, Fiona.

Middle names I like for Isla/Aila: Josephine, Rachel, Genevieve, Danielle.

I'd like to ask one more question: What do you think of the name Athalie (prn A-ta-lee)? It's the French form of Athaliah (prn a-TA-lee-a) which is a biblical name (also spelled Atalyah or Atalia). I came across it on a website, and it's growing on me. Opinions? Suggestions?

Thanks so much everyone! ♥

I like both Leo and Leon as names, but with Spencer, I like Leo better and I think it flows quite nicely.

I like Nora Hope. Though I was never a big fan of Nora, I like the sound of it.

Suggestions for Nora:

Nora Payton
Nora Vivian
Nora Jade
Nora Sage
Nora Celeste
Nora Carmine
Nora Charlotte
Nora Brielle
Nora Brooklyn
Nora Danielle
Nora Piper
Nora Sky(e)
Nora Kate
Nora Lily
(sorry if some of these are repeats)

Ailey isn't really my style, and initially I would have thought it was pronounced AY-lee rather than EYE-lee.

Some combos:

Ailey Noelle
Ailey Grace
Ailey Marie
Katelyn Ailey
Laura Ailey
Ailey Mae
Piper Ailey
Jasmine Ailey
Ailey Faith
