The only names that I've heard being shortened to Callie are Calista/Callista and Calliope.

As for Mox.. you mean it for a boy, right? Maddox and Moses seem like the only possible ones to me.

:)

Yeah, I like it too. There's also Maddux but I'm not so sure about the "u".
Anyway, it could be used as a nickname for Moses with a middle name that contains or starts with an X.
For example, Moses Alexander nn. Mox! WDYT?
{Alexander is the only name with an X that I could think of..plus I don't really like Mox, sorry <_<}

I'm not a fan of Aurora, but I'm really, really, not a fan of the nicknames for it.

Aurora has a certain beauty and I think that Rora/Rory ruins it. The only bearable nickname I can think of is Aura.

Ha, maybe its because i know a little boy named Rory. so the nickname Rory for Aurora sounds weird. it doesnt even sound like Aurora to begin with, to me.

I know a little boy name Rory too. I'm not a huge fan of the name, but I definitely prefer it on a boy

I think Aurora and Rory have completely different tones.
While I may not be a fan of Aurora, it's a very upscale and sophisticated name IMO.
Rory just sounds..boring.
They don't match at all!

I agree with post above. Rora/ Rory just ruins the beauty of the name. This is a main reason why I won't use Juliet as a fn. They'd just call her Julie.
