Hi everyone! I just found out I am having a daughter and suddenly I can't seem to find a name that my husband and I both really like. We already have decided that the middle name will be Teresa after my aunt but we can't find any suitable first names that we both really love. I like the name Ava except my mothers name is Eva so I don't want confusion in the family.

Throughout the entire naming process I have learned that I prefer names that are either short and sweet or names that can have cute nicknames when she is younger.

Thanks in advance!

Honestly, I like the flow of Theresa as the first name with these as middle names even better! What about using Theresa and Tess or Tessa as the nickname. If you don't like that, maybe use Theresa as the first name but call her by her middle name.

I like JennyB's suggestion of using Teresa/Theresa as the first name (unless your last name starts with an "S" or the "uh" sound).

Some short names that I like are:

Ada

Ida

Esme

Amy

Alice/Alys

Enid

Ivy

Zoe/Zoey

Willa

Good luck!
