  • Interests:I LOVE reading. I'm into almost every genre and generally read a book a week, if possible. I like Iris Johansen, Karen Marie Moning, Stephen King, James Patterson, Jane Austen, Charlotte Brontë, Diana Gabaldon, Kathy Reichs, and Robert Burns (every Scot's favorite author). I really love music and even got accepted to the Mason Gross School of Performing Arts at Rutgers University (my alma mater) for vocal performance. Unfortunately performance life was not for me, so I went into English Lit and French instead. Music is still a big part of my life, and I like a multitude of musical genres from Reggae to Rock to Opera. I've seen Carmen and La bohème each twice. (And I cry every time.) My husband and I also have a special place in our hearts for The Beatles.

Hi all! We've pretty much decided if the baby's a boy (we should be able to find out the gender next week), that the first name will be Henry. What do you think of Henry Theodore Rock? Is it too pomous, or just right? Or do you think we should stick with Henry Royden Rock (Royden was my husband's grandfather's name).

Congrats!

If I have a boy for my future children I would use Henry. It's amazing so keep it. As for the middle name I see where you are having some issues. I think that since you are already using a family name you should go with Theodore. I actually think Henry Theodore Rock has a better flow then Henry Royden Rock. In all I think that you should go with Henry Theodore because it has an awesome flow, creative and classic, and you are already using family names so I think the kid should have his "own name". What does pomous mean?

Congrats Again,
Andrew :)

Henry is an absolutely Handsome name. I personally love THeodore, and I think the flow of Henry Theodore Rock is just brilliant, but I always love family connections. Henry Royden Rock as too many r's for me, though I am being picky. I think it is a nice name. You can't go wrong (though that doesn't help i know, haha)
