Which name do you prefer? I personally prefer Brooke because I see it as classic and beautiful rather than a trend like Brooklyn. What's your opinion?

I prefer Brooklyn.

My reason behind this is not only because I like the sound better, but that you have the option of going by Brooke or Brooklyn. It gives the child some freedom, along with the joy of having a nickname. Brooke doesn't have any real nicknames, the only I've heard is "Brookie." I really don't think Brooklyn is classified as "trendy" anymore, or at least not in my book. Maybe because I grew up with five or six it just seems normal to me. I think Brooke doesn't flow well for the first name spot, as well. I'm not a huge fan of either name, but choosing between the two, I would select Brooklyn.

I prefer Brooke, it just looks cleaner to me. Not really a fan of Brooklyn, especially because it reminds of the place and the Beckhams.

I like Brooklyn more. It can have Brooke as a nn so it can go by both names, whereas Brooke doesn't really have a nn it's too short.

Both are lovely, but I personally prefer Brooke. Brooklyn is lovely as well though. I'd partially decide by seeing how it sounds with my surname if I was undecided. But I don't care for adding -lyn to the end of most names. :)

I prefer Brooke to me it sounds less harsh and I'm not a huge fan of place names like Brooklyn.

I prefer Brooke. Brooklyn seems more like a passing trend to me, whereas Brooke seems more classic and durable.
