Hi,

I'd like your opinions on my very short list of baby girl names please. They're not particularly unusual, but I keep changing my mind which I like best!

Bella (suggestions for a middle name would be appreciated!)
Daisy
Sophia
Violet

Thank you :-)

Bella- Not a huge fan of it since the whole "Twilight" thing. I've heard Bella Marie ALOT since the books/movies came out.
Daisy- A very southern nature name, cute but not a favorite on mine personally.
Sophia- Very cute though very very popular, Soph and Sophie are cute nicknames
Violet- One of my favorite nature names, classic but still trendy enough to remain popular.

Bella- I agree with Lauren on this one. I'm not a fan of it ever since Twilight came out. What about Isabella? It's pretty and ages better than Bella IMO. As for middle names, what about Quinn, Harper, Rose, Claire, or Jane? Or maybe Violet?

Daisy- This name is super cute, and I love floral names. But it doesn't age very well. I just can't imagine a grown woman named Daisy.

Sophia- Very, very pretty. It's one of my favorite names. I strongly prefer it to Sophie because it's less cutesy and ages much better. I love it. It's popular, but there's a reason for that!

Violet- This is a name I'm off and on about. It's also a floral name, which I love about it. It's very pretty.

Thank you both for your opinions :-)

Yes, I went off Bella because of twilight, which is annoying to say the least as I had my heart set on it for my first little girl (who is now 1) before the films came out. But we named her lily in the end, which I'm still really pleased with.

Cookiesnatcher - thank you, i agree Isabella would be a better choice than bella and feels less 'twilighty'!

I love violet, but I don't like any of the abbreviations that people would use, such as 'Vi' or 'Viv' :-/

I wish my partner liked Sophia more as it is a very pretty name.

Bella - I can't recall personally loving the name Bella personally, but its still a nice name! I think I prefer names like Isabel, Annabelle, etc, with nick names like Issy, or Annie. Not my style, but a good girls name <3
Bella Faye
Bella Vivienne
Bella Diane
Bella Cadence
Bella Kristie
Bella Elisabeth
Bella Ariana

Daisy - its nice, though another that isn't my style. I think it'd suit perfectly with girls of this day though! There's so many Lily/Lillie/Lilianna/etc's, another floral would suit just perfect! Plus, Daisy and Lily both have the cuteness factor to them :)

Sophia - gorgeous name! I wish it weren't so popular :( <3

Violet - I'm not a huge Violet fan for myself, but I love it on other people's kids :) Beautiful! Honestly, another member put Violet Sophia // Sophia Violet together before, and I fell in love! WDYT? I think the soft, flowy Sophia and the little more harsh sounded Violet just even each other out perfectly. Plus I just think the styles suit each other <3

Hope I helped, girl!

I loved Edward and then Twilight ruined it for me, I also liked Anastasia for a girl but 50 Shades has ruined that for too. Stupid books lol!
Anyway, my suggestions.

Bella - Gorgeous name, very popular and Bella in Twilight is an Isabella, Bella is her nickname.
Bella Ruby
Bella Caitlin
Bella Taylor
Bella Michelle
Bella Francesca (Bella - Beautiful, Francesca - Free, I like the thought of that!)

Daisy - I always wanted my first daughter to be Daisy but the hubby isn't a fan, I think it's one for the ladies this name and recently it has become more popular!
Sophia - Again, another name that's become popular, to me it's a very graceful name!
Violet - I love this choice! My favourite on your list. It's less common, still girly and as for a nickname I wouldn't shorten it but at a push I'd say Letty but I prefer Violet on its own.

Bella - I like it, though would like it better a few years from now when Twilight is more out of the public eye.
Daisy - Love Daisy as a middle name.
Sophia - Never been a Sophia/Sophie fan. Makes me think of soap or detergent, and always seemed like a really soft name, if that makes sense. I'm not big on soft names.
Violet - Love Violet, though occasionally I see it and somehow confuse it with violent. Wouldn't use it myself, but have seen some very pretty combos.

What about:
Bella Violet
Bella Cicely
Bella Felicity

Thank you all so much, appreciate you taking time to comment.

My partner gets sick of me going on about names (I'm not even pregnant yet- just love thinking about names for another baby girl! We already know what a boy would be called if future baby was a he).

As I'm replying on my phone, I can't see the names of who wrote which comment while I'm writing, so apologies i'm not stating your usernames below!

I really like the violet/sophia paring, thanks for the suggestion! :-)

Yes, if we did go for bella/isabella in future I'm hoping that by the time they are at school etc the twilight saga will be a distant memory!

Haha, yeah silly fictional books spoiling nice names! Anastasia is pretty, what a shame it now conjures up the thought of handcuffs and ties (and that's just the tame stuff!) Lol
