So, I'm obviously not the only one having second thoughts on our baby name. James really likes the name Alexandra and especially the nickname Alex. (I personally like Sasha.) And he doesn't like Sophia as much as I do but we found we like the name Alexandra Sophia. HOWEVER. Her initials would be a profanity.

So, in order to keep Alexandra Sophia, we tried to think of a third name to offset that with no luck. So, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I don't know the likelihood Cadence's name will change (Especially since we've had this name for SO long) but we both had second thoughts. I actually had debated using Alexandra for a middle name. Or even another middle name suggestion for Alexandra.

And not Marie...tried and didn't like.

I don't really advise giving your daughter two middle names. I don't really see much benefit to it, it seems more like a hassle.
Double middles are annoying because for government situations they often only give you the option of entering one middle, which will require your daughter to choose which middle she wants to 'go by'. There are some families whose tradition it is to bestow two middle names, and it is for that reason they do it. But it doesn't really seem fair to do it if your only reason for doing so is to avoid giving your daughter bad initials... which i agree you should prevent, but you could just pick a different name.

I like Cadence Alexandra, but if you insist on the three name thing, the flow of Alexandra Cadence Sophia isn't too bad depending on the last name (sounds better with a one or two syllable last name).

How about Alexandra Sophia-May or Alexandra Sophia May? I just thought since May is a short middle name, it wouldn't make the name too long. You could also use another one-syllable name like Jane.
