Brynna Juliet Costner (17) is Elias's girlfriend of two years. Brynna loves Elias and his big family (she only has one, much older sibling). She's a quiet girl who's only confident when she's singing and playing guitar, though Elias brings out the humor in her. She and her father are not on speaking terms, as a few days ago, she found him with another, much younger woman in her bed. She hasn't told her mom because she loves her dad, but she is really worried about their relationship.

Prescott Vaughn Fielding [16] is the younger brother of Elias and Savannah Fielding and the older brother of Connor Fielding and another younger brother. Prescott is not the nicest of people as he holds a lot of resentment against his sister Savannah. He feels bad that she's unwell, but at the same time he's been ignored and forgotten so many times because of it that he's grown very better. Prescott was only two when Savannah started to become ill and only five when they realized what her heart condition really was. Prescott can only count on one hand the amount of his theater performances his parents have made it to, but even if he used his hands and his feet he'd need more digits to count the amount of times his parents have forgotten to pick him up from an after school activity or from a friends house since he was a little kid. Prescott's grown distant from his family and is rarely ever home because he feels like his parents don't care for him. He instead stays out late going to parties, dabbling in drugs, sleeping around and having mostly unsafe hook ups with guys and girls, and drinking. Prescott plans to go to college on the other side of the country and never see his family again. Prescott picks on Connor and their youngest brother because they get more attention now that Savannah is older and can manage her condition mostly herself and Prescott resents that as well. Prescott is simply hurting everywhere ans though he'll never admit it, everything he does is a desperate cry for attention.

Jeanine Laura Walker (nee Ellis, 44) is the school counselor at Prescott's and his high school age siblings' school. Jeanine went through typical traumas like attention deprivation and parental divorce (as well as her own) that help her better understand what Prescott is going through. Her brother was a star college quarterback and her sister made it to the tennis US Open. She and Prescott share a bond that Jeanine hopes is making his life easier and stopping his reckless behavior. Jeanine has two middle- and high-school age kids. She is not married or dating and isn't really interested in either. Her ex has a new trophy wife that her daughter is gushing over.

Penn Ellis Walker {17} is the son and eldest child of Jeanine and her ex-husband, his middle name after his mother's maiden name. He has a middle school aged little sister who he finds to be annoying. Penn knows Prescott from school, and hates how his mom pities him. His dislike towards Prescott started when Prescott tried to sleep with Penn's girlfriend, though she did refuse. Penn is the star of the soccer and lacrosse teams, captain in lacrosse. He's quite popular at school. Penn hates that his parents split up, and even more hates how his dad got a wife who's only in her twenties, half his dad's age. He's in a phase that would rather be around friends and never see his family. He thinks his mom only talks to him like "one of her psychotic students."

Brynn Eloise Walker [12] is the younger sister of Penn. She really want to grow up and be popular like her brother which is the reason she tags along all the time and he finds it annoying. She is much of a daddy's girl, and loves going over to her dad's and she likes her step mother whom is really nice. Brynn likes her mom but doesn't like spending too much time with her because their conversations revolves around other kids' problems. Brynn has two really close friends and they have sleepovers occasioanlly.

Abigail Nicole "Gail" Walker {24} is the "trophy" wife of Jeanine's ex-husband and she is Penn and Brynn's step-mother. All of Gail's friends call her crazy for marrying a 48 year old man, but she's in love. She started dating her now husband when she was 21, during the last year of his marriage to Jeanine. She was the main reason they divorced. Gail really wants her step-children to like her, and has tried to bribe them. She's gotten the love of Brynn by being overly nice and taking her out shopping. Penn, however, hates her. Gail loves dancing and going to the club, as well as being around her friends.

Dana Caroline Bentley (26) is the older sister of Gail. Dana is very low-key and moderately conservative. She has always tried to protect Gail from the atrocities of the outside world, including young marriage to an older man. Dana is convinced Gail is in it for the money and feels so terrible for Jeanine. Dana is dating the man of her dreams but wants to wait a year or so to get married like her mother did. She has always wanted kids, and now that she and her boyfriend have steady, well-paying jobs, a family might not be too far in the future. Dana has another little sister that takes after Gail.

Adele Rosetta Bentley [20] is the younger sister of Gail and Dana. she is much more conservative like her older sister except for the fact that she isn't very social or hasn't ever dated anyone. She has had her fair share of crushes but is too shy. The only guy she has gotten close to, is her guy best friend. She has a girl and guy best friend whom have been there for her always. She met her guy best friend when she joined the marching band freshmen year in high school. Now all three of them are in the band, Adele plays the trombone. Adele also does not like how her older sister, Gail, is going in life, but tends to keep her nose out of her business.

Jethro Jacob Walker {48} is the husband of Gail Walker, ex-husband of Jeanine, brother-in-law of Dana and Adele Bentley, father of Penn and Brynn. He has little care for Jeanine's feelings, he started cheating on her with Gail a year before their marriage ended. As far as Jeanine knew, their marriage was great, but Jethro was lying and cheating on her. He prefers "young, hot women" to "old ladies" as he puts it. Jethro is very tough on his oldest child and only son, Penn Walker. Penn hates him for it, but he doesn't care. His soft spot, however, is Brynn Walker, his daughter and "baby girl." He'd do anything for her, and he spoils her.

Johanna Prusilla Monroe [53] is the mother of Adele, Dana, and Abigail. She has been through three marriages and has settled currently on her fourth husband. She believes this type of lifestyle is to blame for and has really influenced her daughters, especially Gail. Johanna was married very young and got pregnant first during high school and her parents made her abort it. Thte first marriage lasted only two years. Her second marriage was during college, and that child, was a miscarriage. Finally when she graduated at age 26, she gave birth to her first child, Dana. Abigail, and Adele are actually adopted but she has never told them. Its her little secret.

Harvey Marcus Giles [56] was Johanna's first husband. He loved Johanna dearly, but when he found out she aborted their child he couldn't look at her, not understand why or how she could do that to their baby. They divorced years later when Johanna was 19 and Harvey was 22. Harvey graduated from college after that, but soon went right into the Marines where he stayed for five years before a leg injury left him honorably discharged. Since then he's taught military history at a local private school. Not long after he was discharged at the age of 26, Harvey met a nurse who was helping him with his physical therapy and they married after only three months of knowing each other and dating. She was seven years his junior being nineteen and in college when they married. Harvey never told her about his first marriage and a year later when his wife graduated from college early they started having kids at a record pace. They have twelve kids ages ranging from 30-15, and they have two sets of twins. He also has quite a few grandchildren already. Harvey loves all of his children and accepts them faults and all. Though, sometimes late at night he's haunted by the child he lost with Johanna.

Madisyn Harlowe Giles [15] is the youngest child of Harvey, and the few that still lives at home with him and his wife. She enjoys school, and is into art. She loves sculpture and ol pastel paints the best. she aspires to become some sort of artist when she grows up. she is single, but has a very close knit group of friends.

Candace Rainey Quinn {15} has been Madisyn Giles' best friend since kindergarten. Though their personalities are so different from each other now, they are still very close. Candace is very hipster, she loves photography and odd fashion. She longboards to and from school instead of riding with her parents. She eats only vegan food. She sticks out like a sore thumb in her family, her dad runs a butcher shop and her older brothers work there. Her mom stays at home with her little siblings. Candace is dating a basketball jock, and he's nothing like her either. He loves meat, he's sixteen and drives a big SUV.

Jethro "Jet" Finnian Giles [16] is the boyfriend of Candace Quinn, he's also the older brother of her best friend Madisyn Giles. In addition to his younger sister Madisyn, Jet has ten other siblings, one of them being his identical twin brother, Jet's other siblings, excluding his twin, range from ages 30-17. Jet as described simply by his girlfriend is a basketball and football playing jock, meat-lover and drives a big SUV. Some people wonder how Candace and Jet work, but they just do. Jet loves her very much. Despite being a jock, Jet isn't a stereotypical one, he's bright and takes high level classes as he wants to make his parents proud. Not unexpectedly, Jet is very close to his twin brother, they always have been and when his twin came out of the closet when they were fourteen two years ago, Jet wasn't at all surprised and loved his twin no less. Currently, Jet's plans involve joining the Marines like his dad, and nearly all of his older brothers and one of his sisters happened to do. From there college and marrying Candace as well.

Callan Emily Giles (18) is the older sister of Jet and Madisyn. Callan despises her mother because she's overprotective and chiding, and as a result Callan does bad, questionable things. She smokes and drinks and parties a lot. She will definitely get into college, though, because she's naturally smart and has a minor case of OCD, which causes a strict mindset of perfectionism that is only broken by nicotine and alcohol. Callan is very close with her oldest sister who is thirty and has a family of her own. She wishes she could be like that, seemingly perfect.

Leroy "Roy" Shannon Giles [16] is the identical twin brother of Jethro "Jet" Giles, the older brother of Madisyn Giles, the son of Harvey Giles and his wife and the younger brother of Callan Giles, a sibling who is seventeen and seven other older siblings ages 21-30, two of whom are twins. Roy is a rather preppy student, he plays on the school's lacrosse team and is the captain of said team, he is an A+ student in all advanced classes. Though, he sometimes has a few issues at school as some jerks try to bully him for being openly gay. Roy mostly ignores them, though he has been in a few fights none of which were his fault. Roy takes solace in knowing they will go nowhere and he will succeed in life. Roy's been dating his own boyfriend for a year and they are very much in love, they often go on double dates with Jet and Candace. Roy's boyfriend is the star of their school's tennis and is also the head of the school's debate club. Recently, Roy's been really worried about his older sister Callan and has gone to some of his older siblings about it as Callan will not listen to either their mother or their father.

Aaron Luther Giles [24] is the older brother of Roy, Jet, Madisyn, Callan, another seventeen year old sibling,and a sibling in the early twenties. He is the younger brother of a set of twins in their late 20's, and five other siblings that range from 25-30 years of age. Aaron gets along with his youngest sister, Madisyn. They have the same sense of humor, and get each others sarcasm. He isn't married yet, and isn't planning on it anytime soon. He graduated from school already as an electrical engineer. Aaron rides his motorcycle all around town, and loves going into the drive in theater.

Chad Vincent Dryden {27} is a good friend of Aaron Giles, and is the lacrosse coach and Physical Education teacher at Lake Johnson High School. His students include Callan, Jet, Roy, and Madisyn Giles, as well as Candace Quinn. He and Roy get along especially well with Chad being friends with Roy's brother, and because they have spent so much time together at lacrosse practice. Chad is straight, but is always getting on the boys if they mess with Roy about being gay, making them run laps or sit on the bench during the games. Chad is a bit of a player when it comes to ladies, he's currently living with his girlfriend of two months, and this is the longest relationship he's had in years. He has several children, all with different mothers, but has made no contact with them because he doesn't care much.

Parker Isaac Dryden [2] is one of Chad's many children. Parker's mother was chad's girlfriend for a year and a half, before she got pregnant and he left her. Parker is a happy boy and has wondered where his daddy is but it doesn't upset him. He is identical to his father which probably upsets his mother the most, to have to look at the face of the man who left her. He has the same smile, and facial expresions as his father. Parker loves trains and cars.

Kelly-Ann Gabrielle Giles [17] is the older sister of  Jethro "Jet" Giles, Leroy "Roy" Giles and Madisyn Giles, the younger sister of Callan Giles, a 21 year old sibling, Aaron Giles, and five other siblings that range from 25-30 years of age, two of those five siblings are twins. Kelly-Ann is also the babysitter of Parker Dryden and knows who his dad is, though she don't mention it because she knows it upsets Parker's mother. Despite Chad Dryden being her older brother Aaron's best friend and being good to her younger brother Roy, Kelly-Ann does not like him. She thinks he's a creep for abandoning Parker and his mum, and his other kids. Kelly-Ann is a good student and is working hard to attend college. She wants to go to an Ivy League school, but would need a scholarship to go somewhere so expensive so she keeps perfect grades and does a lot of extracurricular activities.
