I've narrowed down my favourites to two girls, and two boys names. Jane, Nikolai and Christian are all family names

Alice Lyra Jane (Lyra = lie-rah)
Grace Marie
Sam Nikolai
Aaron Christian

I really like Grace Marie!

I would prefer Samuel Nikolai or Soloman Nikolai instead of just Sam

Thanks for the feedback. I like Samuel as well, but I feel like I would only call him Sam. It's a consideration though

Alice Lyra Jane: Very pretty, although it's a bit of a mouthful.. Alice Lyra would be more simple. Loving the name Lyra though
Grace Marie: Cute & elegant.
Sam Nikolai: Im not a fan of Sam.. but love the name Nikolai. It flows nicely though!
Aaron Christian: Great name!!

My cousin just had a baby a few weeks ago and she called him Sam. As far as I know, it's not short for anything. I think that if that is all you will call him by, then it's okay to use.

I'm not a big fan of two or more middle names but I really like the way Alice Lyra Jane sounds

Of the girls, I prefer Alice Lyra Jane.
Of the boys, I prefer Sam Nikolai.

That being said, I agree that just Sam doesn't really flow very well. I would consider Samuel, Samson, etc on his behalf to have options as an adult. There's nothing wrong with just calling him Sam anyways, but perhaps he would appreciate having a full name later in life? Just my two cents. Cute names! I really like Alice and Nikolai.
