What are your thoughts on the name Corinth? Does it sound made up? Is it pronounced core-inth or coh-rin-th? Do you prefer Corinithia?

I've recently taken a liking to it for some odd reason :)

All I can think of is the city in Greece (Korinthos, prn. Corinth in English).

So to me, it's not made up, but not something I would name my child.

"Cor-inth" is how I pronounce it, but I can't really see a difference between the two versions in your post.

I think Corinthia is more feminine, but it's a little too much in my personal opinion.

Have you thought of Corinne or Corinna?

It's definitely an interesting choice!

Mm, ditto Yas. I can see it working as a name though! Not one I'd use, but in general. I think Corinne or Corina work slightly better, but either or is fine :)

I have to agree. I think of the Greek city state, too. So to me it doesn't sound like a real name, sorry. I like Yasmine's suggestions of Corinne and Corinna though.

Thanks guys for telling me your opinions!

And don't worry, it's not for a baby. It's for a story :)
