I recently adopted my third baby - a little gray tabby kitten who I love and adore.  I already have a boy named Bandit and a girl named Pepper, but this is the first one I'll get to name (the other cats belonged to my brother and mother respectively, and they named them) so I'm very excited, but also very conflicted!

At the moment, my top choices are Tempest and Apollymi (from a book series).  Others I've considered are: Misty, Bellatrix, Waverly, Everly, and Jadis.

Researchers find that pets respond better to short 1-2 syllable names and names ending in "-ee" however, if you go with a longer name, you can always use a nickname. :)

From your list I like Tempest with the nn "Tempie", Bellatrix "Trixie/Bella?" and Jadis.

More suggestions...

Jasmine/Jasper/Jazz

Luna

I love Luna. It was on my original list, but I was very back and forth on it.

I did decide on a name for her, though, and it wasn't any name I'd been thinking about - it came to me randomly and sort of clicked in a way none of the others did.  Her name is Rousey, after Ronda Rousey :)

Thanks so much for the feedback and suggestions!  Thinking about the "ee" sound helped me a lot, I found myself gravitating more towards shorter, "ee" names and that's how Rousey eventually came to mind.
