I think both Peter and Paul are great names! I would be more likely to use Paul as a middle name myself though. Its just not my style. I've been crushing on Peter nick name Petie lately though. I met a little boy called by P.D. (I think he was Peter Daniel?) and I thought it was so darn cute! <3

I think it all depends on the person as well. Some personalities suit Peter while others suit Paul.

I prefer Paul over Peter, but I always have done. I love the nn Paulie, although it is harder (imo) to find a mn to fit with Paul as a fn.

I ADORE Paul, but I'm a teeny bit biased as that's my Father and Brothers name haha, Peter is nice but I always imagine a shy, quite and smart little boy while when I imagine Paul as a reserved but charismatic kind of guy. My father and brothers name is Paul Wayne, but as far as whether which should be first or middle names, it depends on what you pair with it as both could be a first or middle name though I often see them both as first names more often than middle names. I would pick Paul as the first name personally, especially since your fathers first name is Peter that way when someone calls Pete/Peter both don't turn and look haha! My family has the problem constantly!

Don't particularly care for either, but definitely Paul. Though Peter is definitely handsome/classic, I can't help thinking of what some people used it as slang for (http://dictionary.re...om/browse/peter). Ever considered using Petra? Peter is supposedly derived from the latin Petra. I only mention it because I had no idea until I read the wiki.

I guess I'm the odd one out...I've never liked Paul personally. It seems very "old man-ish" - and not in the good way that's so popular atm! Again, just my opinion. I doubt it will ever grow on me.
Peter is sweet though. Handsome.
