I'm writing a novel and need names for a female protagonist and a male character that she meets. They make an unlikely Pairing, but when they team up,it kind of clicks and they work together.

Female: She is strong,brave and doesn't like being told what to do. She is not Very trusting and is usually independent. Throughout The book it is revealed that she often feels out of place within her family, and is often left out/behind by her family. Despite this she is determined to find her family and potentially save them.

For her I'd like a medium length name that is kind of uncommon, but can be shortened to a nickname. Maybe a hyphenated name like Mary-Jane(which I am not using). I would also like a last name for her that compliments the first name and/or nickname.

Male: He comes Across as bossy, arrogant, and manipulative and acts like All the girlS should love Him automatically. He acts much tougher than he is and thinks he has authority over everyone. He asks a lot of questions and will not stop until he gets an answer. He is revealed,to have a soft side, and would do anything for his family.

For him I would like a kind of uncommon name. I also would like a last Name, I'but not the same as the girl.
