Though I do still like some names that are mostly considered boy names all on their own for girls. Elliot because if Scrubs and Evan because of Evan Rachel Wood. Ryan I used to love but now I'm sort of on and off with how I feel about it. I also really like Landon, for some reason. I have a feeling I probably knew a girl Landon from something, a book or a show or even real life, but I can't pinpoint what it was lol!
I think what speaks to me the most is when people use girl first names paired with a more boy-ish middle name. James and Blake are my favorite examples of this. I love James and Blake as girl middle names! I've used them for characters in stories before. One was Nora James Guillory and another named Audrey Blake Porter.
Of course, the biggest thing is that it takes a certain kind of girl to pull off a boy name
I mean most of the time, unless you have the right attitude or look you'll just look stupid having that sort of name. I, being a Danni, can attest to this! Doesn't stop me from dreaming, though!So I was curious about everyone else! Names you like that fit into the three groups: girl name with a boy nickname, boy first name, boy middle name. I might have to hunt down some of the lists I have written down and post them when I find them
Also would love to know y'all's opinions about all of this!
