So, what do you guys think about...

Eric Robert Ray
&
Violet Yvonne-Terri?

Because I really want to honor my mom, Terri, in one of my girl names, but it doesn't seem to fit with my other names. Would it be bad if I had one kid with a double middle, and the rest didn't have it?

I'd love opinions! Thank you!

I have/had the same issue. My oldest daughter will (more than likely) be the only one with three names. We just couldn't decide. :)

Eric Robert Ray: I'm not a fan of the three names together. Eric Robert. Eric Ray. Robert Ray. Robert Eric Ray even. But, if it has special meaning, I believe that's what is important.

Violet Yvonne-Terri: It doesn't flow for me. Violet Terri-Yvonne, maybe? It is hard to find a flow with Terri. My FIL's name was Terry and I wanted to honor him since our daughter is due around the time he passed. I tried to incoporate his middle name instead. :D

My mom doesn't have a middle name! D:
But, her maiden name is Taormina (Italian, pronounced Tar-meena), and I've thought about using that as a middle name for one of my girls. But it doesn't quite go with my other names.

Idk...my mom's mom is Yvonne (she passed away when my mom was 10), which was my original middle for Violet. Would it be honoring my mom if I use her mom's name?

Have you thought of using part of her maiden name? Maybe use Mina? Mina is a sweet name and still incorporates your mom's name.

I think you would still be honoring your mom using your grandmother's name.

I love both Violet & Eric, but I'm not fond of any of the middle names.
Eric Raymond was lovely... :D

Have you thought of Terra to honour your mum?

I've decided to stick with Eric Raymond and Violet Yvonne. (:
I have thought of Terra, but I don't love it.
