Archer Tyler Miyasaki [10] is the older brother of Amelia, Anson and Aidan. Archer also has two older brothers who first names start with the letter A. He is the second most shy of his siblings. Archer is a little small for his age and has always been made fun of in school until recently when he changed schools and now attends an all boys prep academy with a zero tolerance bullying policy. Archer's parents are hoping he'll thrive more there then at his previous school. Archer plays both piano and violin with a passion and found solace in his bullying though being able to express himself musically.

Autry Sebastian Miyasaki {17} is the eldest of the Miyasaki kids ([brother], Archer, Amelia, Anson, and Aidan), cousin to Naoto and Kelly. Autry is looking at a future as a lawyer. He hopes he can get into an Ivy League college, and then get into a good law firm. He plans on working in New York City, New York when he graduates. Autry is a good big brother, and he and Archer share a special bond over their smarts.

Avery Lawrence Miyasaki [14] is the younger brother of Autry and the older brother of Archer, Amelia, Anson, and Aidan, cousin to Naoto and Kelley. Avery is kind of quiet and doesn't really get along with any of his siblings, not that he doesn't get along with them, well the young teen is quiet. He goes for a lot of walks and seems a little depressed much to his parents and Autry's concern.

Roland Marlin "Rollo" Mizushima {4} is the cousin of Autry, Avery, Archer, Amelia, Anson, Aidan, Naoto, and Kelly. His mother is the sister of their dads. Rollo is a middle child, and he likes his siblings but wishes he had more attention from his mom and dad. He likes playing soccer and he loves school. He and his cousin Aidan are good friends.

Ellery Caroline Walker (13) is Rollo's half-sister. Ellery looks exactly like her mother. Her parents divorced six years ago and it has really taken a toll on Ellery, especially because both parents have started new "replacement" families. Ellery feels like she's trapped in the middle with nowhere to go.

Rose Ginnifer Walker, Rainey Gabrielle Walker, and Raven Gale Walker {16} are the triplet cousins of Ellery, half-cousin of Rollo. They are best friends, though they sometimes fight, and they all love fashion. Rainey is the shortest triplet, and she is the girliest of the three. Rose is the most athletic, she is on the track team and the soccer team. Raven is the tallest one, and she loves drama and theater.

Jackson Paul Morris "Jack" and Patrick John Morris [16] are twin brothers that go to school with the Walker triplets. They are both very athletic, and often compete with each other rather than the other team! Jack is dating Rainey, and they're practically inseperable. Patrick is not interested in girls right now; he's too focused on keeping up his grades and his sports performance so he can get a football scholarship to a good college.

Annaleigh Violet Barnes (16) is the ultimate queen bee and ex-girlfriend of Jack. She tells everyone that she broke up with him, but he actually called it off because he met Rainey. Annaleigh hates Rainey and would do anything to be the center of attention or ruin Rainey's social life.

Evelyn Rose Barnes "Evie" [15] is Annaleigh's younger sister. She is nothing like Annaleigh at all. She doesn't care about being popular, and hangs out with what Annaleigh calls the "weirdo art geek squad." Evie has been painting since she was a little girl, and it has become her passion in life. Her favorite thing to do is go and her room and listen to music while she paints. Evie can't wait to finish high school so she can get away from her sister and find people who are more like her.

Gemma Natalie Wright (14) is a freshman who has taken a liking to Evie. She loves to paint but is outgoing and popular, though she doesn't care about popularity and doesn't work at maintaining the status. She is a year younger than Evie in school and knows that her sister is queen bee, but she is more interested in coaxing Evie out of her protective shell.

Michaela Caitlin Wright (7) is Gemma's younger sister. She takes her Irish looks from her mother as Gemma looks a bit more like her father. She is very intelligent and loves painting like Gemma. However, the two don't usually paint together.

Sara Juliet Madigan (7) is Michaela's best friend. She loves to watch her paint and sing silly songs that she and Michaela make up together. They are practically inseparable and are even next-door neighbors. Sara is very outgoing and loves to play soccer. She is well liked in her first grade class and is the leader of the girls when the girls and boys have "battles," a hide and seek, tag-like sort of game with teams and strategies.

Avery Jim Holden (7) is the leader of the boys in battles. All of the boys seem to like him; all of the girls, however, are annoyed by him. Except for one girl, who has sort of a kiddy crush on him. She writes him love letters to which Avery is disgusted by, and when everyone found out about them they started teasing her. Avery would stand up for her, but, he's afraid someone else will become leader. Secretly, he likes her back. He loves playing in the sand with his toy dump trucks.

Hallie Juniper Bridges (7) is the girl who has a crush on Avery. She gets really sad when people tease her for liking Avery, especially because she knows he likes her back. She wishes she could be like Sara, never afraid and never wrong. Hallie's house is a war zone right now-- her parents are in the middle of a nasty split and her older siblings are always fighting. Hallie goes to Avery's house a lot when she can't take it anymore. She just shows up on the Holdens' doorstep on her scooter. It was there that Avery revealed his feelings to her, but made her promise not to tell.

Stephen Arthur Peabody & Spencer Eloise Peabody {7} are the twin neighbors of Michaela Wright, Sara Madigan, Avery Holden, and Hallie Bridges. They love playing Battles with the other kids. Stephen and Avery are best friends, and though he thinks girls are gross, he doesn't think the other kids should be making fun of Hallie and Avery. Spencer is good friends with Hallie, they are in the same class at school.

Fiona Grace Kennedy [17] is a local teenager that lives on the same street as Stephen, Spencer, Michaela, Sara, Avery, and Hallie. She regularly babysits the kids after school, and all of them think she's cool. Fiona was born in Ireland and moved to the US when she was three years old.

Niamh Shannon Kennedy {12} is the younger sister of Fiona Kennedy, neighbor of the Peabody's, Bridges', Holden's, Madigan's, and Wright's. Her family moved to the US from Ireland before she was born. She goes to a very esteemed and elite prep school called Archer Academy, owned by the fifth generation Archer Family. Niamh's boyfriend is the Archer's son, the most popular guy in her grade. She is very shy and quiet, but has gained popularity since she started dating the Archer boy. She doesn't care about status or popularity, and he likes that.

Jared Elliot Archer (12) is Niamh's boyfriend. He is constantly asked what it's like to be the most popular guy in the grade and he hates that people only like him for his status. He feels like Niamh is really the only kid his age he can trust. Niamh has made him see life in a different light, and he likes her quirks. He is coaxing her out of her shell and is teaching her to surf, as their town and school are on the beach. Jared has surfed since he was a little boy and loves it.

Shane Austin Biggs [17] is a senior at the small high school near the beach. He taught Jared how to surf, and currently gives him tips. Shane is the lifeguard at the beach, and usually has weekend shifts. He loves th e beach and occasionally does surfing competitions.

June Olivia Howell (17) is Shane's girlfriend. She is the star of the track team and cheerleading squad. June and Shane won Cutest Couple in the yearbook this year. They are mad about each other. June and Shane both lifeguard on the beach. June's family is related to the Archers, and she got into the academy on a scholarship. June's mother is single and doesn't make much money, but June's family is close and doesn't mind that they don't have new stuff. Shane buys her a gift every month, and June lives it, but she feels like she's stealing.
