My namelists are all over the place right now; I have a huge master spreadsheet with names that I like, but making them into combos is hard, and I've tried a few things but my brain is just going blank. I have a few combos that I created using a random list maker that I kind of like, and I'd love some opinions on them please. I'd also like some opinions on some single names that I'm liking.

Girls:

Amorei/Amoret - I prefer the first spelling since I find the T at the end a bit clunky, but I'm not sure people will be able to pronounce it if they saw it written down. I've also seen the spelling Amory, but I pronounce it slightly differently in my head. Some combos I have for this are: Amorei Juliette, and Amorei Thisbe Faith which I am loving at the moment.

I'm not really loving any other girls names at the moment, but I'll list the ones from the random list maker.

Ruby Juno Blue

Sylvie Maple (I feel like there's a celebrity child with this name, but I can't remember who's child it is, or if it is someone's child)

Arianna Poppy Mei

Rowena Thisbe Elle

Ingrid Clementine

Emmi Laurel

Polly Indigo

Boys:

Penrose - I am crushing on this name so hard right now, and it will probably just stay a GP, but I love it so much! The nickname Penn is adorable, and I have it on my list by itself as well. I'm liking the combo Penrose Arthur James at the moment.

Again, I'm not really liking any other boys names right now, so here are the random ones I created.

Azrael Flynn

Brooks Theodore

Matthew Esai (ee-sye)

Cullen Thomas

Emrys Orion

Rafferty Esai

Willoughby Neville

Boden Story Flynn

Thanks in advance wonderful people.

Hannah x

I'm not really a fan of Amorei / Amoret, sorry :( Amorei/t makes me think ah-MORE-ay, while Amory makes me think AM-or-ee. I think Amorei Thisbe Faith flows really lovely though!

Ruby Juno Blue - My aunt recently had a little Ruby :) Ruby Cordelia <3 I love the name Juno! I think the combo as a whole feels a tad clunky though. And Ruby and Blue are both colors so it gets to me. Ruby Isis Juno could be real cute!

Sylvie Maple is super cute. Looove it!

Arianna Poppy Mei is gorgeous. I love it all

Rowena Thisbe Elle. I've been growing on Rowen/Rowena. And I never cared for Thisbe but today its growing on me <3 I adore Elle. Eep <3 <3

You know I adore Clementine haha! Ingrid Clementine is lovely.

Emmi Laurel is very cutesy hehe. I think I had Annika Laurel on my list at one point.

Polly Indigo feels a bit cartoony for some reason. I love Indigo though, nick name Indie is cuuuute. I prefer Molly to Polly personally though.

I love Penrose, but I feel its more feminine for some reason? I think Penn is a cute nick name too <3 <3

Ohh, I think I like Azrael a lot! I don't think I've seen the name before but I like. Azrael Flynn is cute

Brooks Theodore is handsome. I like Brooks lately but I follow a lady on FB who has a son named Brooks who's endured some real hard times. Its sad :( His name is Brooks Dillard though.

Mathhew Esai is unique! I feel like I've seen Esai somewhere before... makes a good middle name as its unique and probably would be mispronounced as a first :(

Cullen Thomas is very handsome, though NMS

Emrys Orion is alright, also NMS

Rafferty Esai is nice.

Willoughby Neville is really cool.. and seems so you :) I like! I tend to find "willow" names girly but I do like it here

Boden Story Flynn - I do like Boden, very handsome and so fits in with todays names without being too normal. I adore Flynn too! Though Story feels more feminine to me. I know a little girl named Story, kinda. My coworkers little sisters name. I've not met her but he talks of her so I think of him when I hear the name.

I hope this is helpful! :)

Girls:

Amorei/Amoret - I love Amoret. I think it is beautiful and charming and elegant. I much prefer the Amoret spelling, the two reasons being; at first, I read Amorei as am-or-eye (like Samurai without the S) and secondly, I think Amoret seems more eloquent and effortless.  I love the idea of Amoret Sylvie.

Ruby Juno Blue - Ruby Juno is really cute! Blue is a cute name, but like Remy said, two color names is a bit much.

Sylvie Maple - upon googling it, Jason Bateman has a Maple Sylvie. But, as for my opinion, I love both names, but not how they feel together. If that makes sense.

Arianna Poppy Mei - lovely! So good together.

Rowena Thisbe Elle - this is so perfect! I love the feel and style, it is gorgeous!

Ingrid Clementine - oh how I love Ingrid! and Clementine compliments it well! I love this combo.

Emmi Laurel - I love Laurel! So lovely. Emmi seems like a fun nickname, but I am not a fan of it as a full name.

Polly Indigo - not a fan, sorry :(

Boys:

Penrose - I love this! I saw it on nameberry and started crushing on it :) I think it makes a charming middle name, like Arthur Penrose. I do like Penrose Arthur James, too

Azrael Flynn - this is very handsome, a winning combination for sure!

Brooks Theodore - I prefer Brooks in the middle spot, but this is really handsome. I like Theodore a lot!

Matthew Esai (ee-sye) - handsome, though I misread Esai as Esau at first, mostly because Esau is a prominent Biblical man along with the name of a boy I know and I've never heard Esai :) I don't know that anyone else would do that, and it is in the middle name spot, but I just thought I'd say something

Cullen Thomas - I love love love love Thomas, it's my dad's name and it is on my list for a future child. Cullen isn't my style, though it is handsome sounding. I have a brother similarly named Callen.

Emrys Orion - I love Orion, Emrys is not my style.

Rafferty Esai - I love Rafferty! I really would love Rafferty Esau, but Esai is nice, tough

Willoughby Neville - I love Willoughby! Neville is not my style, though it is nice.

Boden Story Flynn - handsome! I LOVE Boden! Story & Flynn are so handsome, too!

Such a great list, Hannah!

Amorei/Amoret makes me think Ah-mohr-ray and Amory seems more like Emery so I say it closer to Am-rey. I really like Amory/Amorei Juliette.
Ruby Juno is nice as would be Juno Blue but Ruby Juno Blue is a little color heavy to me.
Sylvie Maple is adorable. It feels very homey and down to earth.
While I normally don't like double middles Ariana Poppy Mei is actually not bad. Both middles compliment each other well and they both fit with Ariana too.
I'm loving how Rowenna Thisbe Elle sounds. Its different but not out there.
To me Ingrid is one of those names that I love on someone else's child.
Emmi feels more like a nickname to me.
Poppy Indigo feels a bit juvenille to me but I still like it.

Penrose is a little too feminine to me but I love the nickname Penn and its quite handsome with Arthur James.
Azrael Flynn is quite cute. I love Azrael but I don't have the guts to use it.
I actually love Brooks Theodore and Matthew Esai as well as Emrys Orion which is actually my favorite of your names.
Cullen Thomas is nice but Cullen is forever stuck in my mind as related to Twilight.
I think I like Matthrw Esai more than Rafferty Esai but both are handsome.
Willoughby Neville is dashing but I'm not sure how well it would work in real life.
Boden Story Flynn is cute as well.

I hope this is helpful!

It's all helpful, so thank you :)

I'm pronouncing Amoret like AM-or-ay, and Amory like you'd pronounce it, but someone on Nameberry suggested Amory as a substitute so I thought I'd include it. I'm really loving Amorei at the moment, and luckily Graeme likes it too. You're right about Ruby Juno Blue as well, I hadn't even though about that since I tend to not associate the name Ruby with the colour, but I know it is a colour name. It's a shame because I liked the spunkiness of that combo.

I'm pretty sure Penrose will just be a GP, so I'm hoping to use just Penn which I think is more wearable these days. Azrael is pretty cool huh. I'm not sure if I prefer this spelling or the spelling Azriel, but I pronounce them slightly differently in my head. Willoughby is one of my favourite Will names; I like William but I have two cousins named this, so I couldn't use it as a first name.

I know I suggested Amorei Scarlett, and I really love it, so I'm going to suggest it again, lol.  Cullen is handsome.  <3

Amorei Scarlett is lovely, I'd forgotten you suggested it! Thank you :) Cullen is handsome, but I'm so worried about the Twilight association, so it'll probably stay a GP.

Thank you Addy :) I agree about the spelling/pronunciation issue of Amorei/Amoret, but I like the first spelling so much more. Which is funny because I don't mind the T at the end of Margot, but it just feels so clunky at the end of Amoret...so weird. Amoret Sylvie is gorgeous! Darn Jason Bateman! Maple Sylvie is so much lovelier than Sylvie Maple!

Unfortunately Penrose will have to be a middle or a GP since kids will probably call him Rose/Rosie. Such a shame as it's so handsome! Arthur Penrose is handsome. How do you pronounce Esau? I say it like ees-ow in my head, but that's probably wrong. I also saw that you can pronounce Esai like ee-saw, which I don't think is as obvious and I prefer the ee-sye pronunciation.

Thanks Erin :) I'd pronounce Amorei and Amory the same way as you, I just included it because someone on Nameberry mentioned it when I was playing the think/say game there. I agree with you about Cullen; I hate how it's so associated with Twilight, that series ruined some really good names, at least it did for me.

Addison, Esae is ee-saw, but she had Esai there so not sure if those are different names? <3

Ruby Juno Blue is really spunky! It is too bad :/ I just noticed that all three have the ooo sound to them too haha. All just cute names though <3 I think its totally usable if you love it, just not my cup of tea I suppose <3

Hmm, both Azrael and Azriel are nice.. but I do say them slightly different :/ Decisions, decisions!

Thanks Addy :-)

Remy, I asked Addy the pronunciation of Esau, since she mentioned misreading Esai as Esau. I think Ruby Juno Blue sounds lovely on it's own, but I can't see it working with a surname, especially not Graeme's, which is sad since it's been growing on me a lot. I do prefer the look and sound of Azrael over Azriel, however both are particularly handsome and sound lovely with Archer ;)

Arthur Penrose is wonderful!  I actually know a guy who goes by Rosie...his name is Roosevelt and his wife is named Rose as well.  :)  He is a very nice older gentelman and has no problem with the nickname Rosie since he has lived with it all his life.  I rather like it as an every-now-and-then pet name.

Opps, sorry haha! My fault for not reading properly ;) Can't lie though, I misread Esai as Esau at first as well. Haha I'd be tempted to steal them but I have been trying to avoid A names so I don't create a theme :P Hehe <3

Awh, I don't think you'd have to carry on the A's if you used Azrael. My cousins are Thomas, Toby, and Gemma, so they cut the theme lol (she would have been Benjamin if she was a boy) You are free to steal any names you like, I do it all the time ;)

Ruby Juno Blue

I really like Ruby but I'm not too sure about Juno. I like how Ruby Blue sounds, though I don't like how they're both colours - it seems a little off.

Sylvie Maple

This is lovely.

Arianna Poppy Mei

Gorgeous! Sounds similar to my Avi's name so I love it <3 It flows well.

Rowena Thisbe Elle

Unique. I'm not a big fan of Rowena but it works well in this combo.

Ingrid Clementine

Ingrid is rather harsh for my tastes but this combo is lovely and I feel Clementine kind of balances out the harshness of Ingrid to make it more feminine overall.

Emmi Laurel

Love it! Short and sweet. Emmi is darling as a nickname so you could potentially use a longer name if you desired though I like Emmi on its own too <3

Polly Indigo

I like the two different styles of names together. I do prefer Molly and Holly to Polly however. Indigo is gorgeous!

Penrose

Penrose seems more feminine to me, it's similar to Primrose. Penn would be a great nickname though.

Azrael Flynn

I really like this!

Brooks Theodore

Brooks is unusual and Theodore is a lovely classic <3 It's a great combo.

Matthew Esai (ee-sye)

I've never heard of Esai before. I quite like this combo!

Cullen Thomas

Handsome! I like it.

Emrys Orion

This is nms but nice.

Rafferty Esai

I prefer Matthew Esai.

Willoughby Neville

Old fashioned sounding, it's nice though neither names are my style.

Boden Story Flynn

I really like Boden and Flynn. Story seems more girly to me personally.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks Paige :) I think the consensus is that Ruby Blue is much too colourful for one person lol, so it'll stay on my GP list for now :) I'm not sure if I like any full names for Emmi, and Emma's too short for a nn imo. I like Molly and kind of like Holly, but Polly just has a certain charm that the others are missing for me; I do much prefer Indigo on a boy, but I like it on a girl too.

Azrael seems to be getting a lot of love! It always reminds me of the Smurfs and then The Golden Compass (Azriel), but I love it :) Story seems to be more feminine feeling, but I am a fan of more feminine names for boys; I love Casey and Bellamy for boys, and Story fits right in there! Such a sad thing that boys being feminine is seen as a bad thing, I'd love to use these names on my sons but I'm sure they would cause teasing, which is such a shame!

Emmi is definitely adorable on its own and totally useable as a full name <3 I like Emmeline and Emerson with the nickname Emmi/Emme too. Polly was one of my favourite names as a child :P I loved old-fashioned names when I was little. Azrael is lovely, I'm a sucker for A names haha. Kids will find anything to tease about really, it's ultimately your decision what you name your child :) Story isn't a particularly bad pick for a boy imo, it was one of my GPs for a while. I personally prefer and can just see it more on a girl than a boy, but other unisex names, such as Kendall which is usually used more for girls, seems more boy to me! I guess it ultimately depends on the person :)
