I met Adrian in calculus, which seemed like it would be about the least romantic thing in the world. I was really good at it, and he was struggling, so I agreed to tutor him a few times after class. We grew to like each other, and when he asked me out on an official date, we agreed to do something fun and completely non-school related: mini-golf. I was much better than Adrian at this, too, and he jokingly asked, "Are you this good at everything?" to which I replied, "I don't know. I guess you're gonna have to stick around to find out." We ended up dating all through college, and once we were both graduated we moved into his apartment together.

My name is Sloane Claire Etherington and I'm 20 years old. I've recently started university and I'm majoring in Music, I'd like to one day compose scores for movies. In one of my core, non-major-related classes, I meet a guy, Alfred "Alfie" Xavier Barclay, and he's 21 years old. Alfie lives in his own apartment only a few blocks away from our campus.
