Name: N. Zarin
Location: Maine

Our little girl is due in two months, and my husband and I are stumped. We are looking for a empowering, unique, slightly tomboyish name and middle name.

The first name that came to mind was Sienna; she's powerful and she perfectly balances feminine and tomboy.

If you're looking for something even more unique, try Senna, Sabra, or Shanti.

Some more "pretty" names with a masculine and/or tomboy nickname (since I like Charlotte nn Charlie so much)

Francesca nn Frankie

Andrea nn Andy/Andi

Philippa nn Pip (or Phil, my best friend's nana went by Phil)

Harriet nn Harry

Nicole/Nicola/Nicolette nn Nic

Nathalie/Natalia nn Nat

Beatrice/Beatrix nn Bee or Trixie?

I also really like Tatum, Juno, and Scout.  I feel like these names have a similar feel.

Tamsin

Deon/Dion  (dee-on)

Wynn

Harlow(e)

Gemma

Juno

Athena or Althea

Lise

What about Page/Paige or Ivy?
